If you are reading this, stay strong, stay healthy, and don't lose hope. Together we got through 2020 and we'll overcome 2021's adversities too with resilience. My respects and condolences to the families who've lost loved ones; stay strong, you're not alone. During these dark turbulent times there is still hope in the middle of the fear. There are good news, God promised to be there for you because he loves you. "For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish, but have everlasting life" John 3:16. I just want to let everyone know that Jesus loves you with a passion more than you can imagine. He gave his life so you can be free. Give your cares to him, for he cares for you
      If you've got pain
      He's a pain taker
      If you feel lost
      He's a waymaker
If you need freedom or saving
      He's a prison shaking savior
      If you're got chains
      He's a chain breaker
Don't let your heart be troubled.
I wish everyone the best day.

I went back and actually bought him a large burger and fries. He didnt say much when i gave the burger to him, he just quietly said thank you! How he managed to stay in character and not throttle the life out of his employees is beyond me.
There is a gentleman who frequented my old neighborhood. I've forgotten his real name because no one else who's met him can quite remember him anymore since he keeps to himself, so I just remember him by the childish nickname of Old Mr Fred. He is unkempt, wears old rags, walks up and down the highways leaning on a bike collecting cans and recyclables to cash in for snacks and beer, and he has several tents scattered around town where he camps out as he makes his rounds. You wouldn't know it by looking at him, but he's actually a war veteran, and even more surprisingly, he's a millionaire. He's a Vietnam veteran who was tortured as a POW, and supposedly the reason he acts like a vagrant is because he made a promise to God that if he ever got to come back and see his family again, he'd never want for anything as long as he lived. He was saved and when he got back, he kept to his word and became a miser, giving every penny he didn't need to survive to his wife and living off of scrapping and oddjobs, sleeping out in the woods by his house because it felt more comfortable and less intrusive to his family when he had a flashback. His wife and kids invested the money he earned for them and became very wealthy, encouraging him to continue living life as he saw fit while they supported him.
To my knowledge, no one has ever mistreated him, and he's kind of become a local oddity everybody just accepts without a second thought.

I would agree though, they were a little harsh to him, they could've at least told him where the/a local food shelf is, or give him a bag of food that they might throw away.
And if you're saying "why can't they just give him fresh food" Well... Are you going to pay for that food that you just gave him? Probably not, so technically, you're now just stealing from the restaurant.

Also with respect and understanding to everyone as I know words and phrases get lost in translation.
The quote is not saying look down in judgment. Its saying look down to see the person has fallen. And help them. Its a play on words. Taking the negative and making it a positive.

      @csaleba3150 3 роки тому +1

@@is0sceles Very descriptive and reasonable. However, just to inform you I know how many people starve to death in my country and there’s plenty of places worse than mine. I have many reasons to believe that even if they are poor, even if they are dirty, smell, and look as if they came out of a dumpster, there is always a reason to why. We shouldn’t judge people based off how they look we don’t know what they’ve been through in life. The fact is life is difficult enough as it is and while I understand that you wouldn’t want someone in your restaurant begging for food in your establishment, you should still understand the concepts to a human being. Imagine if it was you, what if you were in the same position as the homeless man in the restaurant, what exactly would you do and how would you deal with it? Even if you didn’t want him in the restaurant based off the reasons of not wanting the other customers to be disturbed that’s fine but to not spare even a sliver of food for a person with no where to go at the moment. It just sounds completely inhuman to me, regardless of any potential reason. We must come to understand that we are all human and no one should be treated unfairly in society. In the end we all have it easy and let’s be honest if we were in the same position as some homeless people we’d be just as desperate. So, while I find some of your reasoning to be correct I also find a lot of it false aswell. Like for example the fact that you consider human beings to be judged based off there actions, not homeless people but murderers, thieves, cheaters, and etc. Once again though, even people like that aren’t all just people who only care for themselves. Have you ever considered why some people may steal? A lot of them because they’re greedy, yes but it’s not just that. There’s also people who steal because in the end there are some people who struggle financially enough to steal food or medicine for their starving or sick families. I’m not saying it’s still right to steal though, I just feel sorry for the people who actually end up that way. Not just them either other people in this world who do nasty things I also feel just as sorry for. So, if there is a line for you that you don’t want them to cross I’ll say it again that’s fine, but if you could ever even think to see a bigger picture for all the people in this world who go through problems we probably haven’t gone through yet could you understand? I just want people to respect our fellow human beings and be treated as they should be. Not everyone in this world is going to be good but neither are there going to be people that are all bad either.

@@csaleba3150 But the whole thing about Adrian's comment was that he wouldn't judge them. He has a job, that is to serve PAYING customers. If you can't pay, you get out.
Why would you try and beg at an established restaurant? There are many homeless shelters around (Even in my town and I live by the seaside). The only reason I could see someone trying to beg at a restaurant would be to try and get really tasty food for free, in which case, just go to the homeless shelter. Beggars can't be choosers.
I wouldn't necessarily treat them like dog shit, but I certainly wouldn't disturb my PAYING customers, or be handing out free food that would most likely get taken out of my pay.

    • @csaleba3150
      @csaleba3150 3 роки тому

@@dio2599 Again thats very reasonable in a way. So, the reason you wouldn’t give them food is because you wouldn’t want them begging in a restaurant for a few reasons. One, that there only doing it to get tasty food, two, you wouldn’t want to give them food based off how it would affect your pay or if it would be taken out of your pay and lastly because you wouldn’t want to disturb your paying customers. Ok, while In itself you make some valid points again I never said you HAD to let them dine IN the restaurant, which still in my opinion I dislike. Again if there asking for food, even if they were just beggars trying to get tasty food we can’t be completely sure if they are. Listen there are plenty of scammers or actors in this world that can act like homeless people to scam others out of their money and their food but even on the off chance that they are I would still very much try and help them, because just that off chance is enough to affect an ACTUAL homeless person. That’s the thing about this, is that there are so many people who assume that every homeless person is just another scammer that can get away with stealing other peoples money and food that we don’t ever actually think about REAL homeless people anymore. Back to my point about what you said, as for if it affected your pay I would still help them, because in the end I feel sorry for them and even IF it came out of my pay I can spare A SLIVER of food for a homelesss person with no where to go, because I would rather risk giving into the fact that he was an actual homeless person than thinking he was a filthy and disgusting scammer and telling him to go out and find somewhere else if you couldn’t pay. I’m the type of person that loves to help people because it makes me feel good, but some other people wouldn’t feel the same way. Necessarily because they look back on how it would effect them and take themselves into consideration more then other people. If you think that way I guess that’s fine, but I wouldn’t treat someone based off EVEN reasons like that. When you said you wouldn’t necessarily treat them like dog sh* that was enough in itself satisfied me a bit. However, even if you didn’t want to disturb your other customers like I said earlier you don’t HAVE to let them dine IN the restaurant, if they’re only asking for food that’s more then enough for them. If it isn’t that’s when I’d draw a CERTAIN line. If it was enough for them just tell them to wait outside and give them some food what’s so wrong with that. If you have concerns if it would negatively affect your pay fine dont do it but if I had a choice to help someone I wouldn’t cast them aside because I just wouldn’t be able to deal with the guilt REGARDLESS of ANY potential reason.

It was a very cold New England day. I felt so bad I had no money with me. I noticed he only had one glove on. His other had was a bright red from the cold. I wanted to help. Drove away and going down the road. I noticed a single glove on the passenger seat. Made a fast u-turn. Went back around to the spot again. I said look I found a glove. It just so happen it was the right fit. We both looked at each other. With a lot of joy. More then anything. He needed a right handed glove. It was the moment that made it so special for both of us. What a poignant story, especially with what’s going on with Coronavirus and the pandemic, which in itself has caused many to become homeless. I do wish if anything we’ve learnt over this hard year, homelessness can happen to anyone and nobody needs to be starving and living out on the streets. I suffer with depressions, part of it during to complications of having Crohn’s. Anyway last year I honestly wanted out of my life, just to walk out of my apartment and keep walking as the darkness was drowning me out, and part f me still want to walk out, but I guess I am much more mentally strong than I give myself credit for. Not all homeless folks are because of an addictions as the media loves to put all the blame on drugs/alcohol. A lot of homeless people are actually educated people who had successful careers, but sometimes a mental crisis could break that camel’s back, I mean I’m on top of my bills and comfortable in my little old life but my head felt overwhelmed. It’s a tragic shame the restaurants’ boss couldn’t have lived longer because I have this feeling he would have been incredible in mending a lot more broken people, and it’s obvious that he got his wings on the other side. This video, story has touched me deeply, what a selfless and amazing person he was, and he’s left an equally amazing legacy behind with his one true manager that cared and happily paying it forward in tribute to his boss

This is a reference to the kind man that was on the verge of getting bankrupt into giving the homeless guy a $10 instead of saving his money to pay off his debt, and that homeless guy brought a cheap lottery ticket so if he doesn't win then he can still buy something to eat with the remaining money. But as it turns out he won the $1 Million Dollar Prize and decided to give the man who gave him $10 a Staggering $500,000. Exactly half the price of the lottery winner prize. and after that the man paid off all his debt and those 2 people went on and became best friends.

Their is a strange irony about this video, given away by the narrators voice that you will hear many times on You-Tube.
This and many other tear jerking videos, many of them involving animals are largely fake, sometimes loosely based on a true story.
They mostly originate from the poorer parts India, where the advertising revenue from this video alone will keep a family in food and shelter for a year.
Unlike the scammers from that part of the world, it is difficult to condemn them, since no one is being scammed by loosing any money. The advertisers are happy and Google are also making money to fund the cost of running this site, along with their search engine.
It is estimated that if you sat down to watch every similar video, it would take you more than 1,000 years.
All of the videos use a small number of voices, simply because the makers do not speak fluent English. They may be an advanced synthesiser, no one is quite sure.
The internet is a very strange world.
PS, Look at this one, 8.8 million views in a week and only one of hundreds of videos by this uploader.

I volunteered with the homeless in Chicago back in the late 90's and this story was very common even with churches who kicked out homeless asking for food as they were preparing the churches own Xmas party. One homeless told me they couldn't even give me a cookie? Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy and in doing so, they gain a richer, more fulfilling life than shallow, empty managers consumed with their own image.

    • @anabellac9329

I'm sorry you had that experience. :-( Obviously that was not a very godly church. Its a shame because most Christians (at least people who call themselves Christians) are not that way. There are some who call themselves Christians but are not doing the will of God (they are known false believers)and others who are its a shame because it pulls down the good with the bad. And while nobody is perfect, it is easy to blame someone who is a Christian because they are expected to act a certain way, but just like every other human being on earth, they fall short. They get back up and try again.
On the other hand, when people are adamantly doing bad against man, that is not the work of God.

I didn't even know there were people who could actually stand to so much as think like that, much less voice such thoughts as intentions. It always seemed too...evil to be real, and I know that's rich given that our history has such figures as Hitler, but I guess in my mind the people who are high up in government, especially in other countries and even more so in times past, don't feel as real to me as the sort of people who could affect me, and yes I know they're all real; I don't mean real as in _really real_ or _as opposed to fictional_, I just don't know any other word to even come close to what I mean.

And remember, not all homeless people are hobos - homelessness is a broad collective of people ranging from hobos right up to people living in hotels and on friend's couches.
