By Italian (VBC, B standing for Blindato, Armored) and NATO STANAG designation, the Freccia, Dardo and Centauro (and any analogues from other tech trees) _are resistant_ to fire up to 30mm from the front both front helicopters and other IFVs, even the side armor is resistant from small arms fire and 12.7mm at least in vital parts, they should have light composite armor underneath the steel skin, which Gaijoob completely ignores
I prefer the videos where you use more of the line up you have access too ...can dunerstand if the games a completel loss ..but jumping into a CAS and pulling the game back or fighting hard shows others how lineups are more effective than one or dones

Justin, actually vbc pt2 is very good protect, that 15 mm is an additional armor to the 40mm, if I don't get wrong, so it's very good protect, specially in the front, considering also that this thing is a supporting armored vehicle, so in the vast majority of the situation it's against only soldiers

Nah I LOVE IFV's, it would be utterly sick if they gave IFV's the ability to drop off little AI squads on points, like the AI from their other game Enlisted that tankers could gun down with 50's.

@@_invencible_ hold the cap point, shoot weak RPG's, kill other IFV AI, just mark a tank with their piddly machine guns lol I don't know, it would just be fun. It's good mowing down infantry in Enlisted.
you could also have side objectives that require Infantry to capture for a little bonus, like a RADAR STATION, or AMMO DEPOT would be cool.

the Veicolo Blindatto da Combattimento (Prototipo 2) aka Armored Combat Vehicle, Prototype 2. its the Prototype version of the Freccia IFV from Italy, practically the same vehicle except the Freccia has ATGM's, it'll likely be the next IFV added to italy! inbetween the dardo and the VBC i would guess!

There is only as much of an IFV problem as there is a CAS problem as there is a problem that's killing your favorite WWII tank.

yea one of my first games in the vbc pt 2 i got a nuke just by rolling around the map. it was funny because it was ground zero so the poor map got double dosage of instant sunshine
how do you make the nord missiles reset their axis when adjusting?
I'm not sure if I'm the only one or other people have this problem but for some reason, if I hold down my C key to look around and press B to go into Binos, it looks where the gun barrel faces, is there a fix to turn this off? As it really decreases my combat effectiveness (not really) and is really annoying. It works if I don't hold down the C but it also moves the barrel making it hard to respond to sudden tanks, especially in a type59

There is a problem with IFVs in War Thunder because of their mobility and having autocannons that can kill tanks. Tanks can just him them once and their shell passes through empty space while the IFV sprays them back. If most tanks had more mobility and they would do something with stunned crew once something gets hit, that could work.

i personally wouldnt say we have a ifv issue, but rather that the ifvs have way to good survivability compared to every other vehicle
Pt 2 because the real VBC is French it’s a troops transport with a 30mm auto canon.

It still pisses me off that nords are so hypernerfed but the bullpups barely got touched, and even buffed a little(they got a bit faster). Thankfully the only plane you will EVER see with bullpups is either the A10(in which its annoying to set up) or the A4E(the pilot is already dead to an spaa because they literally nosedived right at the closest target). Still, Nords need a buff, especially since its now WEAKER than the prototype warheads of the IRL nords. Basically: QUIT NERFING THINGS STUPIDLY WHILE LEAVING A MUCH BETTER OPTION UNTOUCHED GAIJIN.

Kinda sad they nerfed Nords, they irl had a ~60kg explosive load
They had about 30 kg of TNT equivalent, so almost double the amount they have now in game.

I would say I’m more an IFV main kind of person so this might be biased but with the exception of the puma, IFVs are not well protected at all, and considering the only thing going for IFVs is the Anti-Tank missile (while auto cannons are fun, they don’t exactly do well when it comes to facing enemies head on), I don’t think there is an IFV problem in the game, they add a unique play style and make tankers think before they push fast without thinking. If anything my opinion on problems is that CAS is more of an issue than the IFVs, if anything I want more IFVs

I wouldn't say there's an IFV problem. I just wish all trees had a competitive IFV. For instance the Brits are still stuck with the trash Warrior while the US gets the Bradley, Russia the BMP-2, Japan the Type-89 etc.

Tbh no, there is no issue with ifvs per se. The issue I would say is probably the br some of them are at.
True the IFV's with 25mm to 30mm armament aren't extremely bad its one you start getting the ones at 8.0-9.3 where they could easily go up a tier. Example the puma at 8.3 when it came into the game or the BMP2M at 9.3 which could easily go to 10.0 or even 10.3 but then you get the VBC at 8.7 where I think it could go to 8.3 or even stay at 8.7.

I still main nords in Germany. You literally just have to hit the top of every tank. Not really that hard if you manually control it
We are yet to have realyIFW problem because Germani and Russia have a ton of new vehicle with auto canon

I dont think there's an IFV problem. I think one change would fix a LOT of issues: Make barrels indestructible. Such an annoying feature.

Ifv are fun but can also take away alot of skill from the game due to spray and pray instead of making ur shot count.
Idk, maybe I'm not the best IFV player... I find that for me they're insane in certain situations, but a lot of times when I play them I end up wishing I was in a good MBT. PUMA is still cancer tho...

Oh yes, another OP matchbox cart, that is what the game needs. And put it to 8.7 so it can roflstomp all those 7.7 and 8.0 unstabilised tanks that have no armor and no thermal. And then everyone wonders why people leave after one death... Sorry, but the game goes downhill pretty fast and just gains speed with every update.
