Great review. I like the lens covers being included as someone who hunts in the bush and snow a lot. The finish won’t be reflective and you don’t see many ‘blued’ high-polish guns anymore anyway. Thanks for posting!
Nice review that highlights all of the features. Do you think that the 50mm objective is to high for a Pure Precision Altitude stock that has a negative comb, drop of comb is 1” in front and negative .75” towards rear of comb?
Good review. I am looking at the Leupold's VX6 HD 4x24x52mm TMOA VX5 HD 4-20x52mm TMOA 3 scopes i've been looking at. Leica amplus 6 3x18x44mm Trijicon tenmile 4x24x50mm Zeiss v4 6x24x50mm Have u had any dealing with them. Putting the scope on a new Browning rifle. A Xbolt Hells Canyon Speed Long Range 280AI. Putting it together. To take on a bear hunt next spring.
@@ozark_trapper Tom has one of the Leica Amplus 6 scopes and loves it! He also has a Leica Fortis scope on one of his other rifles and that’s his favourite!
@TheDeercast I ended up buying the VX6 HD 4x24x52mm TMOA reticle. Between that scope and the 3-18x50 TMOA scope. Which one would u go with? Kind of wish I got the 3-18x50 TMOA. I am taking it on a spring bear hunt. U can shoot out to 500 to 600 yds. I am setting my max at 500. Closer the better. It's going on a Browning Xbolt 280AI 1@8 26-inch barrel. The long range model. Shooting a Berger 168gr Classic Hunter bullet.

Thanks for the feedback! Glad you enjoyed!
I picked up a hardly used VX5 HD 3-15x56 very happy with it and yes sits low on my Sako S20 with approx. 5 mm clearance .
Americans love the matte black finish 🤗 Great review 🙌 Happy New Year 🎉

I have a VX6 and prefer the mat black rather than a smooth shiny scope. Where do you hunt then?
great review!
Thank you!

I just practice especially with that tmoa reticle 400 yards hold on the 3rd hash to be honest I really don’t know how to dial that well!🧠🤯🔫

You didn't mention the level . How does it work? Thanks
Not sure we know what you mean? What do you mean by ‘level’?
I thought the vx6 had an internal level. Sorry
They call it an internal reticle level? Was wondering if it worked well. Thank you
Yep. If you activate it, when you cant your rifle, the reticle flashes until you level up.
When activated, the illuminated reticle will start blinking when the rifle is canted beyond 1 degree to the left or right.
Cheap American lol leupold are as nice as they come
