Skill wise, Charles is on his own level but he dont have the "vision" it could be because of the pressure knowing he is the only one who dont have a business yet and if he fucked up, he fucked up big time. That verh pressure to win became the reason to his loss
Minju and Daniel are so talented but can we also talk about how such great people they are?? The way Daniel let minju have his fabric in the military round and even helped her figure out how she would have the veil fall down for that effect at the end when she was getting nervous about it 🥺 he was kind to his own competition. And Minju is soo sweet and humble and smiley and I just found their friendship to be really pure. I like how their styles are true to who they are and how they were nothing but happy and supportive of one another. Give them a cameo in season 2 🤧❣️
In a podcast Daniel talked about how they became really good friends because at the end of the day they are all designer and are impacted in the same way. He also considers minju and angel to be on the same level as him in terms of industry experience and exposure and it was when he saw that that were going to be a part of the competition, he was put at ease and felt he could do it too. If you follow them on instagram, they are really supportive and lovely with each other.
I couldn’t agree more! He is such a sweet person. This competition was very different from others because every competitor supported each other sincerely. I loge it so much. It have been one of my favorite reality show ever!
Fun fact, Marco said in an interview that all the designers would go to their hotel bar to cool off and relax and drink. They would also go karaoke together and Minju Kim was an absolute powerhouse when it came to karaoke.
This show is so much better than project runway. I love the fact that they start off on teams and then take the competition to individual. This show is fast paced. I love that the materials and everything you need is right there know crazy field trips or gimmicks just straight up fashion. I enjoyed the host, They seem to work well together.
The most stunning or the happy moment for me was when Tan announced the winner " Minju" and how are models were jumping with excitement and happiness. Ah! that was beautiful.

They got a little lost in the middle when Kerby stated that Vuitton had stolen his ideas on the back of the girls complaining about lack of opportunities and no exposure for minorities within the business. I thought Vuitton was run by a black dude? So not only has he stolen from his own but he is not giving opportunities to other minorities and i thought that whole scene was a bit confusing. I do agree with you though and long may it continue.
Charles was actually robbed couple of times. He's so talented and I'm so sad that he didn't win the money to create his own brand. The belt in the Streetwear challenge and the jacket in the activewear challenge, I would totally buy them.

Am I the only one who absolutely adored Elizabeth Stewart? Her critiques were on point and so constructive and she's just so positive. Although her favoritism for Minju and Angel was evident, she still was an amazing judge for me.
I disagree somehow... She was the judge I likes the least just because she was so biased with angel and minju. These two are great, but I felt bad for how she sometimes critisized other designers just to make angel and minju look better especially in the military and active wear challenge her critiques were a bit questionable
The last one was so clever! The veil coming off and be an extension of the train! I loved it! Even I had to look up again and be like "what did I just see?"

I love the show. However, I do feel like the producers had certain biases to some competitors over the others. It was clear from the beginning that some pairings were put together for failure (such as that Scottish mom and the military guy), whilst some were paired for success (Angel and Minju). Some of the more "successful" pairings had even worked together or known each other for years prior to the competition, which never seemed fair to me. For future seasons, I think it would be cool if the pairings switched up every week or so, just to see if there's a broader range of creative capability between weaker competitors compared to the stronger ones. Also, maybe have themes that are focused less on aesthetics, and more towards sustainable/accessible fashion? Doesn't have to be this way all the time obviously, but with the world in its current state, not encouraging the idea that fashion is wasteful would be great. All in all, great show.
Cmiiw, but as far as i know, the pairings were all up to the contestants as they wouldn’t need to bring the chemistry from 0 again, just like the Final Plate series.

If anyone's watch project runway, Erin's silhouettes and minju's silhouettes have the same quality of shaping around the body, individual pieces creating geometry and using heavy fabrics to achieve a oversized concoction of color which seem to engulf the wearer. I am obsessed with Erin's clothes
I just finished watching it. Man! Minju Kim truely deserve the win. She took me to a journey and I think that's what is Fashion is all about. It has to make you feel something truely magical. I love Minju so much. ❤️✨
HOW COULD THEY HAVE CANCELED THIS SHOW AFTER SUCH AN AMAZING SEASON????? I was not at all prepared to love this show like I do. It made high-end fashion relatable to me which is nothing short of a miracle as I've never paid fashion much notice. I can honestly now say I appreciate fashion design as an art form. I love the talent of these people, I love many of the people themselves. I sincerely hope Charles can start his own line because he does some darn good work. I just browsed through Daniel's online store and I am in love with especially the jackets he does. I'd love to see an ongoing Angel / Minju collaboration, but Minju - that wedding dress affected me like no other piece of clothing has ever done. Sheer artistic brilliance, and far more stunning than any form fitting body hugging wedding dress ever. Anyway, I enjoyed this so much, and im just crushed that there won't be another season. Maybe they thought they'd just never be able to top it.
I love fashion but always so hesitant to watch fashion reality shows because based on other shows it's a lot of drama. This show however takes a different path. Amazing production, hosts, judges and of course contestants. The biggest thing I learned as a creative (esp. from minju and daniel), you just have to focus on your craft and be totally happy and excited on the process. The result is just a bonus.
Loved this show, only winners I didn't like were Ashton and Marco for the underwear one. I feel like I see that exact underwear at every Marco Marco fashion show?
I mean you can probably see the exact suit by carli and daniel at a fashion show too. It’s just a ‘signature’ look for his brand and i’m sure other brands have their signature silhouette too 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️
Vale Geek but in that challenge, other groups are not being ‘innovative’ either and ashton and marco is the most deserving that week because it’s fun and colourful, something that have not been done by other brands (that I know of) except marco marco. And the only group that is kinda ‘innovative’ that challenge is angel and minju but the execution is just not there.
For the last wedding dress so chic 😍 love it ...and I believed we all loved how Daniel gave the idea of string pulling to that wedding dress for Minju while they are competitors what a great charisma👏🏻not everyone can do that …some of the designers can’t even cope while competing as a group ….his design so elegant classy British style love it !!
I wish Charles had stayed longer... I Loved pretty much everything he did! I really did not understand the critiques he got towards the end. Also I like Daniel but i really did not get his sportswear look or why the judges loved it so much.

Minju and Daniel totally deserved to be the finalists. They're both such incredible designers in their two distinctly different ways. And I was absolutely wowed by Minju's final collection esp the showstopper wow.

minju's finale piece is one of the most stunning things I've ever seen. Maybe the only garment on a fashion show to ever take my breath away.

@@Jeff_denHartog i actually felt bad for the lady who went home first because she had that insufferable arrogant jerk of a partner. If he hadn't left first i doubt i could have kept watching, but she didn't have a chance.

If anyone's watch project runway, Erin's silhouettes and minju's silhouettes have the same quality of shaping around the body, individual pieces creating geometry and using heavy fabrics to achieve a oversized concoction of color which seem to engulf the wearer. I am obsessed with Erin's clothes

I was not at all prepared to love this show like I do. It made high-end fashion relatable to me which is nothing short of a miracle as I've never paid fashion much notice. I can honestly now say I appreciate fashion design as an art form. I love the talent of these people, I love many of the people themselves. I sincerely hope Charles can start his own line because he does some darn good work. I just browsed through Daniel's online store and I am in love with especially the jackets he does. I'd love to see an ongoing Angel / Minju collaboration, but Minju - that wedding dress affected me like no other piece of clothing has ever done. Sheer artistic brilliance, and far more stunning than any form fitting body hugging wedding dress ever. Anyway, I enjoyed this so much, and im just crushed that there won't be another season. Maybe they thought they'd just never be able to top it.

I love fashion but always so hesitant to watch fashion reality shows because based on other shows it's a lot of drama. This show however takes a different path. Amazing production, hosts, judges and of course contestants. The biggest thing I learned as a creative (esp. from minju and daniel), you just have to focus on your craft and be totally happy and excited on the process. The result is just a bonus.

Vale Geek but in that challenge, other groups are not being ‘innovative’ either and ashton and marco is the most deserving that week because it’s fun and colourful, something that have not been done by other brands (that I know of) except marco marco. And the only group that is kinda ‘innovative’ that challenge is angel and minju but the execution is just not there.
For the last wedding dress so chic 😍 love it ...and I believed we all loved how Daniel gave the idea of string pulling to that wedding dress for Minju while they are competitors what a great charisma👏🏻not everyone can do that …some of the designers can’t even cope while competing as a group ….his design so elegant classy British style love it !!
I wish Charles had stayed longer... I Loved pretty much everything he did! I really did not understand the critiques he got towards the end.
Also I like Daniel but i really did not get his sportswear look or why the judges loved it so much.
