That small Pollock had some sized eye balls for its size . don't know if you want slippery limits he changes the treble for a single to help getting snagged up 👍
I hadn’t noticed that with the pollock haha. I think he just uses the assist hook doesn’t he? And removes the treble. I watched one of his videos yesterday, he lost 3 lures 😂 it’s just one of those things isn’t it. You’re either getting it back, or you’re not. 👍🏼🎣
Yep, pollack always look surprised you caught them. I've had the least fish losses when I switched to a single circle hook on two split-rings. Especially on line-thru lures. With an embedded neodymium magnet you can adapt them to be almost weedless.
Some lovely deep water rocky marks where you live. I was lucky to get a few bass in Wales last weekend near Tenby. Biggest on the patch ghost 100 and 2 schoolies on the momo pink - both top water. First bass of the year for me. Also - got me a Nasci 4000 on your recommendation and totally love it! Hope the fishing improves soon and am also on the hunt for some mac's. Tight lines!
Cheers mate! I had a couple small bass on the patch 140 the other day too. First ones off the top this year. I’m glad you found the Nasci review helpful. I’m still using mine but on a different rod and it’s still going strong. Hopefully the mackerel show up again in numbers too. 🎣
Not the same as your previous mackerel session, but the quiet times teach too. They're always more fun on light gear with single spinners. Only starting to get signs of them around Dublin now, though the bass are back in force. Bring on the next session, here fishy fishy fishy 🐟.
Yeah haha. I’m still surprised I managed to get that many in the first session given how bad the mackerel fishing has been the last couple of years. They are bloody good fun on light gear though, like little torpedos 😂 Bass fishing will always be my No. 1 though 🤙🏼🎣
Another nice video, and a fish is a fish no matter how big or small. Keep the videos coming there great to watch and learn from.
Thanks a lot! 🎣
I love those major craft lures

Liking the vids mate. I'm getting out with the lures next week for the first time in a long time.
Thanks mate. Good luck, hope you get into some fish 🎣
