How fun! I've never been to Colorado and I've never run a 10k. I'm just an elliptical gal hiding at home from covid in Los Angeles, CA. Thank you! Stay well!
Drinking too much carlsberg I'd say. Here is a mad Idea Ted, do away with the noise or some call it music and don't let those manic talentless, repetative samba bands near an event, I bet it wont effect numbers or enjoyment one bit.
Great run and keeps it straight without a bounce. I run this all the time now and try to keep up the pace. The best out there. Please do more. I’m currently a mile back from the time you finish but I’m catching up to you. Great video- Thanks.
Cool. I ran that race in 1981. I was 13 years old and my time was 52m42s. The Bolder Boulder website has a lot of archived data. I would have never known the year or my time. Frank Shorter won the race that day. The only part from this video that I remember is the last hill and stadium entry.
Totally awesome clip...started using it for my indoor training (with slight variation.... superimposed course map + running statistics using VIRB)..... Thanks for sharing the clip....
I love this video, have used like 40 times at my home treadmill, I even recognize people, hard to find long and well crafted videos like this, I have a UA-cam folder for videos alike. Hope you keep adding videos like this! Greetings from Mexico.
This is amazing. By far the best virtual tredmill video on youtube. I need more races, man!! I wish it was at least a half marathon :( But I love this vid and use it everyday. Thank you!!
Thanks for the amazing comment. I'll be adding more soon, though no races for a while. I'll see if I can't get a half on there as well, but my time would be around 2:00 - 2:15. Pretty long vid!
Wow your camera is really stable!! Good work! This 10K run looks like good fun! Well Done! Keep up the good work! 👍 leaving a like, sub and love from Ireland 🇮🇪 ❤️
From ireland as well, what a finish area and it's a cliche I know but felt I was running it too. It seemed so many were running for the enjoyment and not killing themselves for a time, which I love as well.
I'm hopeful they run the Bolder Boulder again this year, but it's not too far off and COVID isn't under control yet. I will be recording a nice winter mountain run this week, however. Should be a pretty nice route!
Any update on your next virtual run post? Hoping Covid-19 lock down has been eased off in Colorado (similar to TX) so that we could get to see/use more of your awesome virtual run clips....BTW, 1 hour is perfect!! :c))))
@@FYTLife looking forward to it.... Incidentally, we just moved to CO from TX!!! Will join the BB 10K run next year... Still busy with our move and getting settled down... :c)
Hello, Thank you so much for uploading. May I ask if you happened to find a chest mounted gimbal that works well yet ? I’m currently using the karma grip with the extension cable however it still have horizontal tilt issues. I’ve tried the Feiyu Wg2x and the evo SS but they seems to be worse than the karma. They started to drift up about 3 minutes in. Thank you so much and I hope to hear from you.
I also have the Karma Grip with extension cable and have not recorded a run that way yet because it doesn't seem to stay straight ahead. I still use handheld for running so I have more control. I get a tilt occasionally, but only if I turn too fast.
Hi love the video! Hey question for you...how are people simulating this on the treadmill? I see the total elevation gain is 462 feet...so wondering if the treadmills incline should just be set to the same number for the whole race...not sure how to figure out the elevation conversion to incline.. can you help?
The treadmill on the bottom left shows the incline/decline, but the easiest way would be to take a look at the graph and choose an incline that feels good for a few minutes at a time.
Love the video just a little confused at the antics going on during the run. People stopping after a mile run, runners stopping in the middle of the road to take a photo, non runners on the road waiting to take a photo of running friends. Very weird!
The more professional run is earlier. This year I went with a slower wave which has a lot more of the "antics". This year - assuming they have the race - I will be running in a competitive wave, so the video will be much more of a traditional race. It's quite the experience!

9:49 AM 10/30/2020 This UA-cam VR stuff is cool. See I can see the US Army forcing "Group" to do this crap or they dont they encourage us to take part in events downtown on weekends. Yeah right.... if Im not hung over okay I will think about it. If you saw me in one of these it was peer pressure. 10K should be pretty easy. When I get use to 6 mph I will go further. I was the dude with the Rey Mysterio mask covering myself up.
Love watching this on my treadmill from NJ
Thanks for sharing your location! And thanks for joining. Have you tried the race from this year yet?
Thank you! Great fun!

Nice beautiful vidéo.thanks
Great run, thanks for posting. This was my first 10K in a few weeks after pulling a back muscle.
Injuries are terrible. Glad you're back on that horse!

Great views of the race, thanks!

Just in case anyone is wondering the speed to match the runner on the video is about 6.7 on the treadmill.
Super. I am asking for more such videos

What camera do you use? Is it on stick or hat cam
Hey Bill, I use a handheld stabilizer. Working on a chest mounted one now that I can hopefully get to look good. The hat cam is too shaky.
