Also, I’ll just give you a brief description and I’m using voice to text so if there are grammatical errors, please forgive me. On the left handlebar your forefinger and your thumb can activate. The trigger is the silver squares with the plus or the minus that can increase or decrease the sensitivity of the safety suite on a scale of one meaning zero intervention, pure hooligan and eight meaning all interventions are active at their highest setting at their most intrusive setting, so I keep mine on for anything less than that the bike is Squirrley and it’s hard to control because of the power that goes to the rear wheel once these are flashed And they have the pipe. I think that the horsepower is more like 200 rear wheel horsepower. It’s advertised as 200 hp at the crank but I think once it’s breathing free with the correct exhaust pipe I’m certain that these motorcycles are close to 200 hp at the rear wheel and you’ll experience this. It’s it’s undescribable the acceleration and the way the front end comes up it’s it’s insane on anything less than traction control for. I would never attempt to ride this motorcycle with the traction control button said at one now I don’t mean to confuse you, but you can go into the menu and Individually control each level of safety manager. For example, you can go into the menu and control how much intervention the ABS has and that that is your baseline how much wheelie control and Saturday as her baseline how much cornering ABS and set that as her baseline and then when you exit that mowed it remembers those settings and when you use the plus and minus triggers on the left handlebar, what you do is you increase or decrease the sensitivity of the entire safety, sweet as a package sort of as an umbrella of safety systems so you set your parameters the way you want in the menu and as road conditions change or as you get more confident you can increase or decrease the package. I hope you understand.
And one more thing when you get the flash, it’s sort of understood that you’re going to put in a sprint air filter, which is designed for these high strung motorcycles. They perform best with the sprint P0 eight filter, which is a polyester filter. That’s almost transparent and the SC project of course is great. That’s what I have on mine but you’re also going to get all your emissions and catalytic converter removed. If that is allowable in your country in the United States, motorcycles are not required to have any omissions components on them so mine is completely free of all that it’s base place it in a straight piped they had her collecting into a open muffler and Essie project muffler sprint filter, and zero emission so it’s just raw power. It’s insane when you get it that way.
🤣They do like a drink or two more than the norm! I have the 2014 RSV4 Factory with 184hp and like this only the quickshift upwards. I've just last week received the 2017 RSV4RF in Superpole colours, which is a real game changer, having the new TFT full digi dash and quickshift up and down (with auto blip), upgraded Bosch electronics package and the bonus is 201hp (officially tested). Im lucky to be the same size and build of Max Biaggi who helped in the development of the bike since 2009. Taller riders over 6ft might feel a little cramped on the standard bike but Im sure it can be tailored a little for the giants. Take it on a good track, do a few laps then all of a sudden those little negatives are all forgotten. In the world of motorbikes there is only one bike better than the Aprilia RSV4RF - the Aprilia RSV4 X! cheers
So in they are as reliable as you make them. What I mean is if you keep up on the maintenance they are fine. I accidentally ran it out of gas and the owner was having battery issues. Other than that it’s solid. Now every manufacturer has their issues or parts that fail and need to be replaced.
The word “RACE”, is NOT a mode. It signifies that the ECU has been removed and sent to an authorized Aprilia service Center, and the ECU has been flashed to perform with a different exhaust pipe and air filter. When these motorcycles, get a new exhaust pipe and air filter, generally, the owner will remove all of the evaporative components as well and the motorcycle needs to be flash in order to run correctly, so Aprilia only allows their software to be licensed to registered and authorized dealers so it can only be done at one of the centers, a third-party without the authorization cannot flash an Aprilia ECM. I’m not trying to be a know it all I own this exact model with 4000 miles. This motorcycle is superior in most ways to a Ducati, and as equally as fast or faster. This motorcycle is not a toy. I’m a 50 year old man with 35 years of motorcycle and dirtbike experience and this 2016, Aprilia should seriously not be on the street. It’s an absolute animal it’s a beast and it will cause you to ride like an absolute hooligan because the technology that’s on. It allows a person to go insane on this bike. I’m not trying to ramble, but it’s the only motorcycle that I’ve ever owned that every single time I get off of it my hands are shaking with adrenaline that’s how fast the motorcycle is. It’s like nothing you’ve ever experienced in your life if you’ve never ridden an Italian 65° V-twin it’s absolute insanity it’s bonkers and when you really understand what that Mike is about and how the performances on a razors edge, you’ll appreciate it so much that you don’t even want to ride if you just wanna look at it, I keep mine on a paddock mat on pitbull stands, and I just did Mira continuously. I just left possessing it and owning it and when I stand by and look at it, it looks like a cruise missile.
16’ & 17’ w/ new dash are my favorite body styles, it got more sleeker and then they decided to make it look like a puffer fish 😂
Haha! Well is that a good thing?
I recognize the area can’t wait to register this bike so I can ride.
Love your review

Thanks for the insight! Good to know now! 👍

Yes I always feel cramped on the RSV4’s! Lol
Naa v4 panigale😂😂
Looking to pick one up. Are they reliable?

What problem did you have at the end of the video?
Why did the motorbike turn off?
I stilled it on the hill and the battery was still dead. Couldn’t start it back up.
Have you had any other issues with it I’m looking at buying one and want to know if it’s a good buy
Not my bike but I haven’t heard much issues with it.
daimn DESTINY YOO .... thumbs up girl ... working on bikes ...
