yeah been thinking of picking up a couple but i have 4 sets of folding "chicken feet" w/ baby pin and wonder if the babysitter going to have any real advantage over the chicken feet.
Nice selection of bits and pieces. I love my 8x8 honeycrates grid, just wish I got to use it more. Have some of the androokie magnets as well, since it was a lot less hassle to have a nice easy to find kit than having loads of individual pieces all over the place. Haven't had to use it that much recently though, since lighting companies like aputure have included magnet accessories in their mc pro kits as well. I do like the idea of the slip on rags. Will definitely have a look. And that ladder rig has got me thinking. Here in Ireland we'd deal with a lot of the rigging stuff too so I'm struggling to think of what might be unusual or worth a shout (grip is more camera dept here).
Thanks for yet another super useful video, I went to Canvas Grip and picked up a set of 1/2 and 1/4 gridcloths in 4x4 slip-ons and 6x6, the prices of their rags seem increidbly good, hopefully the quality is too! Also loved the magnet set, thinking of picking that up at a later date.
Thanks for making the time to make this video. Love to hear more about brokeh rags. I’ve been trying to contact them for an 8x8 size but no one has been replying.
John was out dealing with some health issues for a few months, try him again… spoke with him last week. Also check out this zoom we did a few years back, LINK : vimeopro.com/johntindall/jendra-zoom-call Password: Jendra
When the chance permits. I'd like to see your truck layout. It always intrigues me to see how everyone lay out their vehicles.
Do you follow the grip and production vans Facebook group?
Great video as always. Thanks John !
These videos are very informative. Please keep up the great work and thank you.
So incredibly useful, thank you!
Yes. Wheels on stands are huge. Nothing nicer than being in a huge warehouse and just rolling your light around all day.
major quality of life upgrade!
This was great! 💯 on the wheels. Makes life so much better to be on wheels.
yeah sometimes it's the simple things that really save your day.... or your back.
i would recommend the Baby sitter from matthews. its been a real time saver and space saver on set.

hey john, where did you get the slip on rags in the video. The websites you suggested seem to all be different
Mine came from advantage grip… but many companies make them
Sounds very poor...
Can you be more specific? It
Seems fine on my computer…
It does not sound “very poor”. It is a working storeroom space, not a treated studio.
Good news is I just bought a few wireless mics… just gotta figure out how to use them now, lol.
The sound is good! Get your ears checked broski
