LOL,instead of a slice I got a scoop,,🙂Looked delish,as always!
I make something a lot like this and call it goulash.Wish I had a big bowl full right now!
God Bless
Donna
Grating cheese was made much easier for me with the "salad shooter" and clean up a breeze!
And soooo many uses!
Looks great, will make this soon, grand kids will love it too!
My hubby Jerry and I love to watch your cooking videos. Do I detect a little more southern charm to your words now a days?
LOL, someone else mentioned that in another video, I think it was last week. I have lived in the south nearly my entire adult life. I'm told there's some that comes out from time to time. I can't say that I hear it, but it wouldn't surprise me.
Looks delicious! I'm going to give it a try. I have one of the cheese graters you mentioned that you put the cheese in, turn the handle and it shreds the cheese. I LOVE IT and highly recommend. Quick, easy and saves the knuckles.
Ohhhh.... YUMMMM! Thx Constance. Have a great weekend. God bless!
I was trying to think about what I was going to have for supper tonight and now I know! 😊 I have made this recipe before and we love it! So delicious! Thanks for prompting my memory!
Yes, as others have already said . . . get that cheese grater! My husband was first to use it when it came & said, ‘this might be life changing!’ 😂🙌🏻 Great video!
This is my favorite simple and quick and delish recipe thanks for sharing
Easy peasy dinner!😘❤️🙏🏻✨
You will LOVE the cheese grater! I've also used it to shred zucchini and potatoes. I need to order me another one so I have it for back up.
That looks good Constance! Thank you for sharing!
I bought a rotary cheese grater and I love it!
I love my rotary grater!!!
That is a great 👍🏼 meal! Thanks so much for sharing😊
This looks so good I’m going to have to make it. I use the salad shooter because my hands got so bad from typing for years and so I can’t even use a crank grader. I am on my 2nd professional salad shooter and you can grade a block under a minute if not less. I even make my hashbrowns with it. My boys have always volunteered lol they love that machine 😍

Yummy! Now I want to make some.
Plant the bottom of your onion with the roots, it will grow and produce seed from the onions you like best.
Looks delicious. Thank you for the great idea!
Just made this for my littles and I! Thank you. Reminds me of a good ole goulash 😊
This looks so yummy good and easy! I am going to try this one! My husband and I both loved your Cabage roll soup recipe I made a few weeks ago, so I pretty much trust this is going to be just as good! Thanks for sharing! ❤
That looks so yummy!
Yum! Everything I love all those ingredients. I think I love you! :)
That looks delicious! I will definitely try it. Thanks Constance
😃 Well there ya go 🤗
Supper for tonight! 😋
Thanks for the idea sis 🥰
Cheesy goodness 😋
Hello, that looks scrumptious! Will be giving that a try! Thanks for the tip on the cast iron skillet. I received my first one about a month ago and i love it. Thank you for sharing your recipe. Have a lovely evening!
Dinner looks yummy.
You use the same measuring cups I use .
you commented on this video about how acidic food is best avoided in cast iron--I thought that bit of info rang familiar in my memory but then I recalled a video or two back another skillet meal (sausage and cornbread cobbler I think you called it) but you put tomatoes in that cast iron meal so my question is do you have a particular rule of thumb as to when you will go ahead and add tomatoes or tomato products in your non coated cast iron....my guess would be that a little tomato wont be of any concern but the more saucey or tomato juicey it is then it is best to use coated cast iron or another type pan all together....but I second guess myself so thought I would ask you how you decide what type pan to use when dealing with tomatoes....thanks loads---cant wait to give some of these easy quick meals a try...God Bless you
I think it would depend upon the pan and the recipe. When I made that particular recipe, I actually thought to myself as I cooked it, "uh oh, cast iron, I hope this doesn't taste off!" - but I think because that was diced tomatoes and there weren't a ton of them in there. I know I have cooked a chili in cast iron in the past, and it tasted terrible. It tasted like metal, and that was a quick lesson for me on heavy tomato and cast iron not always mixing. That was one of the first times I ever cooked in cast iron, many years ago. Good eye for seeing that! :D
Just curious why you didn't use fresh or even jarred garlic? Looks yummy. Yah bless y'all 💙🙏☺️
I use fresh/jarred garlic for most recipes. But in this I just wanted a hint of garlic flavor, so I went with the powder. Either would work just fine :)
Constance, wanted to add recipe to my "paper copy" cookbook but didn't find it in your recipes (our rural internet is spotty so I always print a copy for my file). Looked under Cheeseburger easy skillet dinner - found nothing - can you tell me actual name on this recipe? Looks delicious. Thank you for sharing.
Hi Melinda! I have not added this one to my website yet, but I will add it in the next few days. I'll post a message on the community tab or social media when I do :)
Didn’t see the recipe for your special seasoning?
Oh! I totally forgot to add the link. Here you go: cosmopolitancornbread.com/seasoning-salt/
@@CosmopolitanCornbread Thank you. Your cheeseburger casserole looks good want to try it!
Oh sister, I laughed and nodded at the ‘skinned knuckles’! I’ve even shaved off the tips of fingernails too. 😂
This dish is very similar to my grandmother’s ‘goulash’ recipe! It’s one of my family’s favs! Enjoy, it looks delish!💞
