    Hi sir, I have a question 🙋‍♂️: Should I tie the straps pointing outward or inward? In other words, how can I understand which pad is for which leg?
    That may sound ridiculous😂, but I am confused…😢!
    By the way thank you so much sir for such helpful videos.

      We recommend that you have the straps facing outwards - this will stop them from rubbing together as you run between the wickets 🏏 Go well

    What's the difference between lh pads and rh pads? Plz answer.

    • @SeriousCricketTV
      @SeriousCricketTV  3 роки тому +1

      In junior pads they are often ambidextrous and there is no difference. With adults, the main difference between RH and LH pads is the additional padding that wraps around the side of the leg that faces the bowler. With a RH stance, the left side of legs face the bowler and need additional protection as the ball is more likely to hit this side of the legs.
      In LH stance, the right side of the legs need additional protection.

    Hey Guys, I am a 12 year old at about 144cm and for the last few weeks, I've been using my brother's old pads. My knee is hitting the knee area but I can't seem to walk or run properly, I always waddle! Any tips or recommendations?

    • @SeriousCricketTV
      @SeriousCricketTV  3 роки тому

      It sound like the pads might be a bit too bulky... try tying string around the top, middle and bottom and leave the pads overnight which should help mold them. If they are still too bulky, we would recommend looking at another brand / style of pad.

    Pad size for 5'3" players??

      @SeriousCricketTV  9 місяців тому

      Hi, thanks for your question. For your pad size, measure in a straight line from the centre of the knee cap down to the instep. The measurement correlates to your size: Extra Small Junior- 25 cm Small Junior 25 - 30 cm Junior 30 - 35 cm Youth 35 - 38 cm Small Adult 38 - 41 cm Adult 41 - 44 cm Oversize Adult 44 cm +

    My son who is 8 has just started playing cricket. They don't wear long pants but shorts. But the problem is the pad straps leave terrible marks on his legs that end up really swollen. What can we do to avoid that?

    • @SeriousCricketTV
      @SeriousCricketTV  Рік тому

      The only thing that we can suggest is to wear trousers, as this will stop the straps form rubbing against the legs!

    • @SeriousCricketTV
      @SeriousCricketTV  2 роки тому

      Hi Jabran, unfortunately, there isn't a standout brand that fits smaller. All we would be able to suggest is that you go to a local specialist shop and try on a variety of pads and find the best option for you.

    Is it necessary to oil a kashmir willow bat of knoking will do much?? Please answer

    • @SeriousCricketTV
      @SeriousCricketTV  3 роки тому +1

      Kashmir willow is only to be used with soft balls and not hard cricket balls so you do not need to worry about knocking in etc.
