This was so great! I think the biggest thing for me was confirmation that it is indeed, a lot of work, no matter how you organize it. I'm constantly thinking, "The NEXT class I make will somehow not take an eternity...." as if I'll figure out some magical way to make it easier/faster... but it turns out that my workflow is about as streamlined as it gets.... it's just.... still a load of work. 😂 Thank you for making me feel better about all of it. I love your videos and appreciate this peek into your process. I've dabbled in Notion before, but my brain struggles with how to best use it... this was very enlightening! 👏🙌🙏

I'm so glad to hear it was helpful (and validation that you are not alone!)
I'm very skilled at underestimating how long things will take 😂

Hi Cat, great to see another video.
So, is this what you use (eCamm live also for prerecorded presentations?
    If not-
What video editing software would you suggest for pre recorded video lessons? (I teach physiology subjects in my online course).
I’m looking to choose something (better!) than iMovie . But not as complex as Adobe Premier Pro.
    Thank you!
PS: I love and use Canva Pro and mostly Keynote too!

What, if any, are the pros and cons to building these overlays directly on the Ecamm Live platform? Enjoyed the video, thank you.

Great Content! I am just literally starting out and have no IDEA of how this works or what you did.... yet... I am about to start putting together the equipment, set up lighting, background, etc... but I did watch this in it's entirety and sort of get the jest of what is going on... as well I am looking forward to the part 2. When I need to know more about this I know where to watch to get the info. BTW was the mic camouflage a happy accident or intentionally problem solved? Thanks for sharing.

This is amazing! Even though I don't Notion I can do all of the planning in ClickUp. Interestingly, I use Stream Deck to collect my lessons into folders and the scenes are assigned to buttons in order, but I can definitely see the benefit to the next scene method. Maybe I'm stuck in live mode where I tend to jump around more...going to give this a good think!

Hi Cat and everyone. I wanted to ask your advice on a project I have in the works. It’s going to be a class that I teach for 3 days out the week on zoom about music production. I wanted to ask you if you think this setup would be good for it.
    1. Elgato Stream Deck+
    2. 3 Logitech mevos (myself, dj equipment, computer)
    3. Shure sm7b
Is there anything else you would suggest?
