Futuristic design with old good diesel engine. Good job Hyundai!

Can't believe that such a futuristic van still offers a diesel engine.
And it's absolutely wonderful!
Gas price is very expensive in KR thats why customers prefer the diesel for heavy or big SUV/van in spite of available Gasoline segment.
it's good for you, but looking so Dumb.
Main reason is torque.. Vehicle this big need big torque to pull without sweat.
Audi/bmw/merc large lux suv are diesels....diesels hv huge torque to move heavy vehicles...btw, modern diesel are powerful
эх, ну почему нельзя посмотреть на конкурентов и взять хорошие задумки?
1. пластиковые накладки по периметру по нижней части - это реально нужная вещь для многих, иначе будут бесконечные сколы и царапки от камешков
2. дворники надо не синхронные, а чтобы расходились в разные стороны.
3. заднюю дверь у Хонда Степвагон надо копировать - отличная и очень удобная вещь. И задний ряд чтобы складывался не полностью, а стандартные 40х60
4. вообще даже с отодвинутым и сложенным задним рядом он занимает непозволительно много места в багажнике. Нужно как-то под пол утапливать. А так получается, что вещи нужно класть на спинку сидений, и тогда они смещают центр тяжести выше, находятся в опасной близости от окон и могут полететь в пассажиров второго ряда.
5. дублировать изображение с зеркал на приборную панель при повороте руля - это прикольно, но спидометр прятать не надо - он должен быть виден всегда.
Мне скажут, что это не грузовик, а микроавтобус для деловых людей с портфельчиками в руках. А я скажу, что совмещать надо.

I really did not expect to see an engine when they opened the hood. I know there just has to be a fully electric version in the works. This design just SCREAMS EV

Absolut! Vor allem, weil Hyundai sich nicht dazu hat verleiten lassen, auf dieser dämlichen snowflake-woke-greta-grün-Welle mitzureiten und das Ding mit einem Diesel-Motor anbietet! Macht imho absolut Sinn und ist auch verbraucherfreundlich, abgesehen davon, dass man den dann in D nicht so oft sehen wird und er exklusiv bleiben wird, weil hier ja alle den Diesel verteufeln. Drum: passt für mich!

Wir brauchen so einen Van , wir haben 4 Kinder , und die wenigsten Hersteller bieten noch Vans für Familien ( die auch auf den Geldbeutel achten müssen ) an .

diesel will be in the future as well for big cars. however small cars such as golf won't use diesel in the future.

Hyndai Staria (2022) -- I see 5-passengers seat; excluding driver seat. The car does not have a roofrack and no grocery or luggage space in rear-end. Why did the engineers forget those two very important items in a family minivan? be blessed. jul2021.

The storage space on this thing is laughable. It needs a search party to find it but there was nowhere to stow the gear so it got called off.
Outside look and exterior is futuristic, sleek and beautiful....inside it's absolutely "DABBA"...... INTERIOR IS CHEAP & PLASTIC. No richness inside!
