- But most of all because your patches are ones of the best (if not the best ones) for the pod go! I’ve downloaded this one for instance, added a simple pitch effect and I’m enjoying it since hours now, by learning some GnR AFD songs (of course) but also some Stevie Ray Vaughan ones. It’s perfect and so enjoyable! No need to spend time tweaking it, for a time I can only plug my guitar (my last one is PRS S2, just to illustrate your patch is great with Humbucker or single pickups configurations ) and spend time to enjoy learning my songbook(s)!

I’ve got a Quad Cortex at home but tonight I preferred play with your patches and so you’re proving to everyone that it’s possible to enjoy and have a really great sound with the pod go without experiencing memory issues nor unwanted humming noises.

Aaaaah so many thanks for saying this although it's far too kind sir! Glad the patches I worked on work well for you too. Creating tones on pod go is quite enjoyable first because there's no bad tones there ha ha even the factory patches are really good and second because the UI interface and PC/Mac editor are really amazingly easy to use.
I'm currently working on my own tune that will be going live on here soon so look out for more patches to come 😉 Hope they'll work for you too and other users as well. Thanks again - merci beaucoup 😉

Thanks a lot for your kind answer! 😀👍🏻 You’re totally right: that’s a pleasure to create presets on this device because components are quite the same than on my Helix (LT) but as it is said in English: “less is more”. More pleasure to tweak the “vital” elements on the sound chain and to easily find really decent sound without designing parallel paths, adding four switchable delays or three drives and so on… 😄😄. Back to basics!! 😄
Maybe you will ask: “why does this guy have bought a Pod Go if he had already purchased an Helix LT and a Quad Cortex? 🤨 ». Well, frankly speaking because of two things: the first is that my Helix LT has the disease of the first LT devices: my pedal broke after a year of use!! (Line 6, if you’re reading these comments, you know what to do… 😆). The second point (more interesting) is that I was offered a Yamaha THR some years ago. It was the 10W first generation and I was so shocked about its internal quality that I’ve purchased the THR II 30W…wireless. And now you understand I was seduced by the wireless option of the pod go to have a full wireless chain (Yamaha bought Line 6) and as written…I still prefer to use the Pod Go than my Quad Cortex! (which has two main design issues: a bad ground design and the imperative wifi connexion (i.e: QC is a hifi multi-effects but it can hardly be used for holidays or in standalone with headphones as you need to plug at least a send output to a grounded amp/device and you will need wifi to build your patches!!)).
And as you mention I’m very happy with the amp and effect quality of the Pod Go with a little tweaking to adapt it to our hardware!

Hello, great job. I have downloaded the preset from the Line 6 Customtone page but I can't find the IR. Could you send me the IR file or a valid download link? I've searched Forward Audio but I can't find it
Hi there, thanks! I don't own a pod go anymore but after clicking the download link it took me to a login page so I imagine that you would need to create an account first in order to access free IR's. It's also quite possible that this particular IR isn't available anymore. In such case go to my latest upload of Welcome To The Jungle solo and grab an IR from the link to preset download, it works great for Slash tones too.
