good job guys..im an 80s kid..best time in history as far as im concerned. BMX was a daily thing with me and my friends..all day every day..41 now and still dream of getting out there..
Man..This brings me back....Loved the Movie Rad..wore out several vhs copies..had a ramp like this one..Was doing the same tricks..Thanks for making my day.
I'm thankful I got to experience the 80's. It was a blast. I grew up in suburban St.Louis and we were all about GT and Dyno bikes in my neighborhood. Most of us were too poor so we rode K-mart bikes hehe. I worked all summer to get my 88 Dyno Detour. I still have it! Great times.
ditto! i had a huffy, then got my haro frame and transferred all my huffy parts to it and gradually swapped them out over the years with paper route money. damn i wish i didn't sell that thing a few years ago. now some guy in california has my bike. I WANT IT
Man this brings back a lot of great memories, I had a 1986 Purple/Lavender GT Performer. And my friends had GT Performers to, and this looks just like us when we rode... Ahh the 80's what a FANTASTIC time to be a Teenager!!
@piceon2001 dude we were little kids. and he did grow up to be a pretty damn good rider, we all start somewhere. or did you pop out of mom doing 900's14 feet out? he's like 10 in this vid.
Seemed like they had a wide knowledge of many different tricks and knew the basics of how to perform them. Although none of them could land any for anything......lol.
+Mason Wilson perfecting a trick? shoot. we wanted to learn them all NOW back then.. no patience to learn one at a time. to be that young and full of energy again
You just envy the fact that his parents had money. So why hate on the kid because his parents bought him a nice bike. Your no longer welcome on the internet.
This reminds of my neighborhood growing up. If only I had the rad soundtrack like you guys! Sick bikes too. Just went to the biggest bike shop in town and they had 3 bmx bikes... :( They used to have at least 20 at all times. Nowadays I guess all kids do is play nintendo
Nice! Totally reminds me of how me, my brother and my friends spent our summer days! Good stuff. Nice bikes too. Hopefully you guys still mess around with it.
Cool video. We were the same way with bike loyalty and ramps all over the place. Except we were all about GT bicycles back then. Not sure which trick was harder to learn, decades or cherry pickers. lol
Wow! Memories, I used to ride for team Mongoose in PR been a JW!I recognize those wheels(I think skyways or skylarks)? plastic. I worked at a bike shop selling and fixing bikes. amazing music!
just remember everyone true flat landers/ bmx riders start somewhere these kids are doing great as beginners. as least they arent like you fails talking shit about em sitting home and eating cheetoes
RAD \m/ I do not have my original Murray, for racing. But do still have my Redline 440. Man this brings me back to the days! But, no helmets lol (I only say this years and years later lol)
when you did nothing but ride for 10 hours a day i guess that was what happened, i'd prefer cringy from exercise to cringy from being stuck in mom's basement playing warcraft for a week straight
OK, that first song sounded like Mike Reno but I have every Loverboy album with "Loving Every Minute of It" and before that. So I'm searching to see if it's one of his solo songs and then I hear your vid play Almost Paradise! SO is that 1st song from Wildside (the only LB album I don't have)? And which song is it??
NOT ON THE GRASS MIKE
43 and not sure why I'm reminiscing so much about freestyle. Man I miss my youth!
ditto man. we had it good.

This video is hilarious, dude even has on Jams shorts which were super popular in the mid 80's.
CycleCruza looks like they were spoiled. Nice ass house and camcorder in the 80s
LOl ya spoiled. bought the wood with paper route money and my dad was a wedding videographer. so spoiled? with a 6 foot ramp? LOL nope
Michael Meyers you jealous? what's your point?
lol not one trick was landed
nope. not then but we were outside and loving summer on our bikes
its all about the fun i agree, but this would be something i would say to my friends when they ride so its all fun and games

Seemed like they had a wide knowledge of many different tricks and knew the basics of how to perform them. Although none of them could land any for anything......lol.
+Jeremy Law Probably should have worked on perfecting a trick before half attempting another.. But we were all young once!!
+Mason Wilson perfecting a trick? shoot. we wanted to learn them all NOW back then.. no patience to learn one at a time. to be that young and full of energy again

This video makes me want to watch Top Gun.
Love it! When BMX was new to the world. How time flies, I just bought an old 1984 diamondback frame and forks to do a restoration for my 2 sons!
i recently sold my haro. man I've been kicking myself over that one. on the good side, i got back every dime i spent on it! i should build another too
wow you're still active on this channel, damn that's awesome
Super stoked... just picked up a 85 Haro Sport $700au. Needs some TLC but looking forward to getting it back to mint!
i snagged a mid 90's haro that i may resto , or maybe just ride. still unsure.
