I’m a wife and mom to three littles. A season of singleness is a HUGEEEEEE blessing so don’t wish it away!!!!!! You have time to seek the LORD first, root yourself in the Word daily and develop the foundation/habits/discipline you need to walk out a real Christian life. Once you become a wife and especially a mother you will NOT have the time you do what you are doing now.

One thing, I wish I had recognized in my younger years - is to surrender in all things, for it is then, we truly experience “His peace which surpasses all understanding.” Even though I have been married for nearly 20 years to a godly man, I must daily recognize that Christ must be and remain my first love. To often I witness young women and young wives, lose sight of the preciousness of Christ and marriage quickly becomes an idol (for us all). For me, it could be relying on my husband to help me, as opposed to first calling out to the Lord to help me in some area of weakness. Being single can be the sweetest of gifts from the Lord…the Lord works in the sweetest of ways and “His purposes will not be thwarted.” 💕 May Christ truly be our all-in-all, whether in want or plenty, we have learned to be content. 💖

I'm totally at that "making the most of where God has me now" stage, and while I'm not in 'the game' per se, I don't wanna be, well not yet. Just have things going on, like God is really using me at work, my local church and community, that's besides the future I'm moving forward to [HS directing my steps]. I'm enjoying this season of singleness so much so that I feel changing that status will disrupt this good thing going on. And for the few like me who are content in waiting, take heart, it is natural to be under pressure from external elements. It is crucial we stay rooted in Christ, in God's word, in prayer and fellowship w/the saints. Trusting that God will finish the good thing he started in us. Keep on going, keep thriving!

I really needed this. I literally vowed my self to singleness a couple days ago. I’ve come to realize that my impatience and my lack of faith in my Father is the problem. I also realized that at this moment I’m not where I need to be as an individual. So, I’m going to start growing my relationship with God, and start being thankful for the time God has given me for myself.

OMGGG! When I tell you this video was for me! I lately have been struggling with this! Seeing all of my friends getting into relationships was making it harder and I was becoming so focused on it I was not spending as much time with God. I've learned that God has certain individuals single for a reason... its a gift. Most cannot commit to singleness. Sometimes its hard to accept, but He knows what need most than what we will ever know.

I'm not technically single, but I wish I knew all these things before I got into a relationship with a Christian guy, not a GODLY guy. I struggle still with remembering while I'm in this relationship, I need to work on my faith and relationship with God before he brings me that godly man to marry. His ways are not our ways, so these declarations you have been speaking are bringing life to me even if I'm not single. THANK YOU for your FAITH!
