They don’t make games like this anymore man, the nostalgia is real 😊
yeah, but looks how stupid the players got.
everything needs to be aaa or pixelart, all between is crap.
like that werewolf game couple years or month ago, sold bad.
Sleeping dogs was supposed to be the sequel but it got canceled so they turned it into sleeping dogs
I used to play this back in 2004 with my gamecube , man the memories I have with this game and streets of L.A
Remember when games were seemingly ENDLESSLY packed with bonus content? No need for updates, dlc, or patches. Good times.
those games were also full of glitches that were never patched, they were good times but far from perfect
Yeah and downloadable content was expansion packs which addon to the full game which were fun
Well truegrime was a buggy mess! A shame because he has potential! but buggy games werent the norm like these days garbage! Games were tested in the past years unlike now people buy any trash lazy game industry put out
I remember getting Snoop Dogg was my household's main objective and NOT the actual storyline. 😂
Wait so you could just find this location and activate the missions this way? I used a code
@@jamesthomas80888Yeah! Snoop was a secret character! If you found all the doggy bones, you unlocked him.
This Game needs a remaster
@@alamo94gaming I enjoyed new York more overall but I liked the main character of streets of LA more
never knew Snoop Dogg was a legendary martial artist.
"My money is on me, kicking yo bitch ass all nightlong."

Streets of LA and NY were good games back on the PS2. Sleeping Dogs was originally suppose to be the sequel to Streets of LA but was changed at one point. You can still feel the orgins of it though when playing it.
True crime games were good concepts realized without the needed budget, the result were only buggy, ugly broken games, Is very sad, Imagine what they would be with the right development, Just like the driver series, rushed trash but you can see the idea was good
They truly don't make games like this anymore. So many memories back then. 🔥🔥🔥
Haven't played this game since May 19th. I finished it with the good cop ending, of course. Then tried out the alternate endings at midnight. The story with the fights, the shootouts, even the one in the night club, and the plane chase, but in separate episodes, it's like something you'd see in an HBO crime miniseries, or in a Hollywood action film from 2003. And it came out on my dad's birthday that year when I was about a month old.
look on the brightside he got another
game called way of the dog think
it was on PSP an also got to be on
the defjam game an Tekken tag 2.
This game had a bad ass soundtrack too. Alot of bangers ❤
I remember seeing snoop Dogg being a character in this game and used to make me think this is seriously only for adults to play lol
@@rasheemthebestfirstone3274 I beat it a couple times but never played as snoop
@@PatternLand and that very thing is being censored in some sort of way now that was my mindset back then as a young one enjoy it while it last
The good old days
Man snoop everywhere , true crimes , Def Jam ,tekken tag , call of duty , NHL , and Madden between music movies and games he set for life
We really had the best games growing up. New generation spoiled with great graphics but will never experience these classics.
THIS NEEDS A REMAKE:
HELLA FUN, ESPECIALLY THE FIGHTING
I remember this, I hated that you could only play as snoop for an hour, so when the time ended had to go back to menu and play again 😂😂
youtube algorithm bought me here but this shit was epic back in 06! thanks for unlocking these great memories 🎃
A classic masterpiece
I WAS PLAYING THIS GAME BACK IN 2004 OR 2005 IF I'M NOT WRONG... I HAVE COMPLETED THE GAME WITH EVERY ENDING THAT YOU CAN. AND FOR THE FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE AT THE AGE OF 25 I DISCOVERED THAT YOU CAN PLAY AS SNOOP DOGG..
SHIT I'LL TELL YA ALL .. THEY DON'T MAKE THEM LIKE THIS ANYMORE... OLD-SCHOOL GAMES WERE THE REAL THING BACK IN THE DAY..
(SORRY FOR MY BAD ENGLISH.. I'M FROM GREECE 🇬🇷 😅)
MUCH MUCH LOVE ❤️❤️❤️
Bro shit crazy I had to use the cheat code book cuz I didn’t know u can use the internet to do it now 😂😂
Your English is very good. A few minor typos. The main thing you did wrong was you yelled your comment.
Looking back this looks like the type of gameplay you’d see for a mobile game ad
I remember doing this with my cousin back in the day.
0:43 if snoop Dogg was a cop😂
Loved this
Ecclesiastes 9:18
Wisdom is better than weapons of war: but one sinner destroyeth much good.
True Crime LA was much better than NY. Larger map, multi path story, and most importantly, fun gameplay that wasn't plauged by glitches and watered down gunplay and wonky driving physics.
I can respect that. I personally prefer NYC due to its detailed map, better Street crimes, story and customization. There's just more content over all. I did love LA's branching paths and alternative missions and on console LA's shooting was better! 👍
@@Willzyyy Respectively agree with a few points. It's just my experience with True Crime New York was a mess. I was playing the PS2 version btw. Having to constantly enter and reenter buggy and laggy interiors for street crimes and the game punishing you with bad cop points for just jacking a car killed my joy for the game IMO. Plus, your moral choices didn't matter until the game's final mission. That's why I prefer LA better. It felt fun and joyful to play through all 3 routes in the story. The True Crime series had a lot going for it, but New York felt like a massive downgrade from LA, sort of like how Dead to Rights 2 was a letdown compared to the OG Dead to Rights. Even though immersion and detail are essential, that means nothing if the game isn't fun to play with.
Sorry if I wrote a little essay on that. Kinda a geek.
😅
@@hereskyubi3333 There's so much to like in both games but also have their fair share of issues (driving, clunkiness and lack of polish in both games), it's just that NYC was so ambitious, and I can't overlook the amount of content packed into it...even the street crimes have their own side stories/narratives at times. Features like regaining health in restaurants/pharmacies/food stands, learning martial arts at Dojos, booking hotel rooms to progress the day/night cycle, buying cars at dealerships, going undercover in a Fight Club side mission etc. All that just added to the experience for me. :)
@@Willzyyy You could book hotel rooms? Damn. But I'll take Streets of LA over New York any day. I loved the RPG aspect of LA, and it felt like you had to prove your worth to earn a fighting move, gun, car, ability, etc. With NY it's just a matter of having enough money to get something or having a high enough rank in the department. I understand that True Crime NY had more interesting street crimes, but it didn't have the comedic charm that Streets of LA had. Sure, you got a call in NY about "violent vegans" but other times, it was just a call about a stolen car/money truck or a rape/assault that required you to enter a laggy interior. Streets of LA on the other hand, even with the more severe crimes like a drug bust, had that hilarious edge that made them more fun to engage with. Especially when you arrested someone.
"Ok supercop, you win!"🤣
@@hereskyubi3333 I do agree with all your points about what made Streets of LA great, especially the rewarding upgrades system which made you feel like you had worked for it, I know what you mean there. Comedy wise LA was brilliant, but NYC still had just enough comedy to keep the charm going for me. NYC was a much darker game but I guess I liked it’s gritty New York feel. I will just say I love both games and wish True Crime Hong Kong kept the series going…even a remaster of these would make my year lol.
Early 2000s soundtrack 😅👌🏾
Remaster remaster remaster this is my whole teenage years here 🙌🏾
1:25 Snoop can fly
Man, I remember just driving around the whole city as Snoop, good times.
Been wanting to get a ps2 back I miss this game and true time New York, sky cooper series etc
We had The Getaway and Gran Turismo back then... the driving physics in this game drove me insane.
I remember skipping middleschool and playing this game all day. I didn't realize how back the driving physics were until I played this as an adult. 😂
Man true crime was ahead of it's time for real streets of l.a. was legendary I loved n.y. to lol taking me back to the Good old days of true great gaming to me retro gaming is way better than current gaming. Yes I loved the Gamecube lol it was my main system back in the day.
This was really my child hood game
As much as it's lowkey funny to play as Snoop, I would love a mod for this game where you play as Ice-T. Complete with voice lines ripped from his decades career of playing law enforcement on television.
I remember finding all the bones and Snnops character unlocked.. best game ever lol
*Game seriously need to be remastered along with The Getaway & Dead To Rights*
I always liked NYC not Streets of LA but that easter egg smashed me
Man my older brother came home from Dallas and stopped by Bestbuy before he got home and surprised me with this game and the 2003 TMNT game for xbox both. I was in the 10th grade when these game released.
They need to make another one of these games
We need a new true crime
finally, a perfectly polished game.
I still remember me being 1 bone off to unlock him, but it was getting late so i had to go to sleep. the game did not save so i lost all progress and never got snoop
@Willzyy will you do the REDMAN one or you did already if so where’s the video LUV Yo Content 🏆
This is the most early 2000s thing ever lmfao
BAM, CLINK
I remember being a kid trying hard to get snoop dog because I wasn’t good at all looking online and we have cheat code books then from gaming stores lol
This game play look smooth af
I remember when Snoop was going to have his own video game similar to GTA but it was canceled.
Snoop Dogg also knows Martial Arts in Def Jam Fight For New York
I thought this was a fever dream lol this was real the commercials had me thinking it was a long running joke when is snoop dogg not been working lol
Use to be my favorite game
Sleeping Dogs was really good too
Nah that run funny asf😂
“CALIFORNIA ROLL STYLE”😂
I remember when you played snoop it was night time. I remember if you would be next to staples center the lights would turn on. Also the dispatcher will mention to you how there was a riot near staples center because Shaq fouled out.
Hi Willzyyy. You have mistakenly added 'Cold Fear' video into your 'L.A. Rush' playlist.
P.S. Have you seen the reveal trailer of the latest 'Need for Speed' game called 'Need for Speed: Unbound'? If so, are you planning on doing a playthrough when it comes out?
Whoops, thanks for letting me know! Also yes, I will be doing Unbound if it has a story like The Run/Payback/Heat. I don’t usually upload racing games unless there’s a crime story to go with it lol.
@@Willzyyy Ok, Will. Thank you for letting me know. Have a nice day.
@@Willzyyy Try Pro Street. It's the most underrated NFS gem and it's played a lot today, you'll have so much fun with it.
@@heavenlanes5598 That's a great suggestion. I believe Need for Speed: ProStreet, was the first Need for Speed game in the franchise to be taken on the professional racing scene. A lot of cool features were in the game, e.g. choosing different cars for different race types, like drift, drag, etc. I have a lot of fond memories with NFS: ProStreet and its one of my favorites in the franchise. Though, I think Need for Speed: Undercover would be a great fit for Willzyyy's channel. It has an undercover cop story, illegal street racing, some crime elements, like stealing cars for the gang that your player is 'working for'... I personally would like to see Willzyyy play Need for Speed: Undercover, but that's up to him to decide.
@@nemanjamilenkovic5559 Undercover is also good, but it's better when it's modded.
For some reason I didn’t really like the 2nd one but the 1st one was my favorite one. I didn’t know snoop was on this game that’s dope.
Anybody else remember how you could play as Redman in the True Crime New York
This was a great game, although there were only two things I hated in it. First off was that other than the incoming crimes reported, there wasn't really anything to do in the city, it was practically empty, especially as the map is very huge somehow. The second are the tailing missions. Those were ridiculous. In one of them the target went around the same block four times, went to another then returned to the same one.
"Boom nigga, BAM! 👊💥" 🤣
Never knew this was possible! Also kinda lazy how this mode only has a night day cycle lol
Classic
The D-O-double G fasho
If True Crime Hong Kong had a celeb cameo it should have been Chow Yun-Fat
should have been called “Dogg Police” as a reference to the Memphis classic “Dog Police”
Add the 2 videos to the Random Edits playlist and also the random Yakuza Like a Dragon video
These aren't "edits" just gameplay videos so there's no need. :) That playlist is for montages or videos that were edited in a fun way.
Will you do a video on Dogg bone locations to unlock Dogg Patrol?
No need as once you find just 1 dog bone all the rest appear on the map making it easy to collect them all. A quick google search will help you easily find just one (for example: Sunset Boulevard, Hollywood in a large fenced area) then the rest will be easy. 👍
snoop doggs on everything
True Grimes
Street Cleaner
I played this game for hours and hours
I wish they would remaster this game. Just bring it back. 😂🔥🔥🔥
They need to remaster this game
I remembered when i mocking in this game but i never finished this game because the bad cop reputation so i make a New save.
I miss this game I was like 7yr old playing this
The cars so loud on this one.
Damnnn I forgot you can do this 😂
I didn't manage to play as Snoop but I managed to play as Redman in Streets of NY.
Anybody remember anymore??

I played this on the Gamecube.
at last my 7th grade year Brought back
Had this in gamecube and the the NY on ps2 but never was able to unlock snoppy
Will we ever see a remastered version if this game?
I been waiting years to see a remastered version of LA and true crime New York would guess remastering is not on anyones mind but the true fans
@@fatguywithdorito8814 It is if money's on their mind! And that's the big draw, money! If the fans want it bad enough, usually they eventually make it.
how were you blee to make it fill up the screen
I remember as a kid watching the commercial for this game in my living room, & thinking " Igh this game looks pretty cool" ...then out of nowhere SNOOP DOGG comes on shooting and doing drive byes and the guy says he's a playable character....my mind was completely blown, this was before DJfor NY, and all the 50 cent games, so it was a big deal
I had this
Why haven’t they remade this yet or made a new one??
oh I forgot snoop was in true crime.
I remember my parents wouldn't let me have GTA so I convinced them to buye this because you play as a cop and they did. 😅
I guess this is the closest we'll have to the cancelled Snoop Dogg crime game "Fear & Respect" that was supposed to be released for PS2 in 2004/2005.
I still think think about that game sometime, I really wish they would have released it.
