I especially liked the first guitar from Japan (Kimshima) because it had a stong (sound) presence, bell-like tones, and the even-ness of the tones. I also like to hold my guitar like Karlijn - in fact my playing improved dramatically when I hold it very high (with an elevated footrest). Hope to see more WGM in the future and hope that Karlijn and Jonathan will appear more often. As usual, I like seeing Juyan (?) and trust his opinions. Congrats!
Congratulation to all 3 of you. ❤ Those giutars are all fantastic, I think in the end it is just a matter of matching your own personality with the instrument that resonate more with your soul.
The sound of the Cedar So Kimishima guitar is very beautiful and unique. I love the sound of the guitar. I can imagine a peaceful small village when you play the guitar.
Congratulations on your 100th edition! I've watched them all, maybe I need to seek help.. The H&A at the end had great presence, maybe helped by Jouyan's strong playing style.
Parabéns pela centésima edição desse magnífico programa. Hoje vocês mostraram que além de instrutivo e informativo, ele pode ser muito divertido. E também muito bonito, com essa linda convidada.
All three of your 'favorite' guitars soundsd wonder. I think that it takes time to mature the construction and wood to make a genuinely 'great' guitar. Thanks for playing these great guitars and showcase-ing the other, also.
The guitar I like the most is the 1932 Santos Hernandez. It has that elusive, magical-sounding midrange tonality - very present - with great clarity, and it allows and facilitates playing - with that old saying coming to mind: Sometimes you need a little finesse... 🎶🎨🖌 Karlijn, your playing is magnificently energising, yet calming and soothing - simultaneously - like the complementary colours of orange and blue. 🧡🛋💙
How do I hold my guitar well it all depends on your body build arm length body length etc but I would not advise anyone to use a foot stool as it puts great stress on your back and one day like me it my cause you problems which stopped me playing for years. The best answer is the Guitar Lift support pricey but you can position the guitar to any position and it does not slip around nor does the suction grips slip// negative bit is it is large and cannot be stored in case also not so easy to move from one guitar to another unless you mark the position on first guitar where it was. No I have nothing to do with the makers but it is the best.
Good afternoon friends I really like your program and I share many of the comments you make about the guitars. I would like that when you describe the construction characteristics of the guitars, citeis, in addition to the woods, the varnish that the luthier has used for the finish. Synthetic, lacquer, another ... Thank you very much and congratulations.
I liked the Tobias Braun guitar (coincidently I'm from Austria, too 😉 It has such an immersive sound profile, you can let yourself engulf by the music.
Awesome guys. The weekly guitar meeting is always very informative with amazing guitars. Thank you for the effort, may the next 100 be just as awesome😀

Btw, the old guitars lead by 1932 Santos are by far much finer guitars, what a surprise, right? I also like the guests compositions, quite nice.

What is the name of the piece she played first?
My question, too - so nice.
It's a new, still unreleased piece of mine called "Shams". The score is available on my website. Glad you liked it 😊
