"So I took a week or 2 off from iRacing to get rid of my frustrations elsewhere" - we all felt that
I did also take part in this series two days ago in split 1 with a porsche gt4.. Laguna multiclass with lmp3 guys dive bombing each corner, especially before corkscrew is super frustrating. Feels sometimes as if they play a dive bomb simulator. You barely can't stay on the racing line without 99% fear to die.
I don't play iRacing anymore but I love when you post race vids! Your set up is incredible!
I swear Will gets the real world lobbies. Every other streamer I watch gets perfect racing clean lobbies, will almost gets murdered every race at 2k+ just like me 🤣
I honestly don’t know how guys like Dave Cam, etc do it. It can sometimes take literal days to get one clean race where you don’t get murdered in T1.
Love that Grid wheel, want wheel, don’t need more wheels, life is complicated 😢

Man, I love your videos. But do you think by any chance you can also upload uncommented races? I’d love to see an alternate channel of yours with videos like that for instance.
Whenever I do that, watch time plummets and the videos get hardly any views.

Why don’t you use much of the space on the track?
Never been confident using the whole track here though the corkscrew and Rainey curve. Always seem to loose the back end if I run out wider for Rainey and my exit is always way slower if I go wider into the corkscrew. Need to watch some hotlaps I think.
@@boostedmedia The MX5 cup guys I think are the best for seeing lines and how much space you can take. Especially through T1, T3 (the first right hander) and the kink you’re losing a lot of time by cutting off your line.

Yeah, to be fair there was a lot of death and destruction in that race. Still, looks top drawer!
Right? Hes losing a lot of time in turn 1, turn 3, corkscrew and the final corner by not using all of the space. With a 2-3s gap behind you don’t have to worry too much about attacks as the line keeps your speed up.
I feel like taking time off from iRacing is part of staying mentally healthy. I've taken time away from open lobbies and ran with my leagues during the winter and spring and it was refreshing to have races with the same faces building trust and race craft. Will get back to public races at some point, but I feel the "getting rid of frustration elsewhere" a constant we all share together at one point or another. Cheers Will.
