I'm SO happy they're incorporating the dreams into this show. Targaryens having prophetic dreams is a big part of their history and the cause for a lot of the shit that happens to them.
I can tell you that based off the book this is adapted from, the characters and story here is amazing, not only that ITS FINISHED in the books. This show also has George R.R Martin the man himself as a creative director / show runner to guide them in this series. I honestly believe this could surpass the original GOT series. You should watch the new reign behind the scene HBO released for this a few days ago I think you’ll like it.

Only thing missing is the height but that would be totally unrealistic on screen
There are like around 20 dragons in the book and they all look different. Also its about the Targaryen fighting each other but all the other houses in Westeros will choose sides between the 2 fighting halves of the family, so there will be some crazy battles.
HBO had edited their trailers in such a way to really hide what's happening in this story, while still giving people something tangible to speculate on (unlike Rings of Power). And it's been fun to hear the reactions.
Also it's not dragon armor, it's a saddle. Dragon riders have to use saddles or else all those g's dragons pull would fling then right off their backs. Dany riding Drogon without one is an exception.
Nope. I am not intending to spoil. The brother won't be fighting each other. They didn't reveal one major player in the conflict. The trailer is heavily misleading haha!
It’s misleading right , but Alicent is more important than her son and they showed her. They well explained in the trailer it starts with Dameon but ends with Alicent. Dameon isn’t the major pain in the ass after all.

Yeah I think the farthest it should go is explaining who certain characters are. Like the velaryon's for example. But people out here giving the whole plot for the first season.

I just hope that however they handle this they don't rush any part of the storyline.

There was never any Targaryen Queen in the books, the only one was Rhaenyra (the protagonist of this series) but her brother erased her from history, therefore she remained as she never was. there were only queens consort but never of the 7 kingdoms

The Jon Snow spin-off could resurrect Daenerys body because we don’t know where Drogon took her body. Perhaps he took it to her ancestral family origins where magic was prevalent. Also, many of the original cast members have mentioned that they’d already be down for reprising their roles. It would be a great opportunity to right the wrongs of the last couple of season of GOT.

The silver haired older woman is Princess Rhaenys who was the first cousin of King Viserys and she was passed up twice for the throne. She is the granddaughter of King Jaeherys who again didn’t want to choose a successor after his eldest son Aemon Targaryen the Prince of Dragonstone and heir. He had a daughter Princess Rhaenys, but the great council voted 20-1 that it would pass to her uncle king Viserys father Baelon, but Baelon dies and Viserys becomes king. She becomes Rhanyras biggest ally because she feels for her and sees herself because she was in the same position long ago.
I don't think you need to tell the story since it has been confirmed that the season will start with the decision of king jaehaerys, I know it's boring but explaining everything that happened to her already counts as a spoiler of the show

The king’s daughter was from his first wife. He has the lords swear they will support her as queen. After that, he remarries his daughter’s childhood friend and she has 3 sons. The war is between the first daughter and her stepmother and her sons

do should have caved and gave us what we wanted. Arya defeating the Night King worked because she learned magic and was able to the sneak attack but shes my bias. Jon made some blunders though hes not perfect. I voted for Dany and Jon making it together, Dany deserved a happy ending.

Yeah so this time period takes place over 30 years. The trailer is very deceiving and doesn't actually show any of the conflict. That's all I'll say. It's a bit more complicated and they're making you think one thing when it's really not.
From what we know about the show through leaks. They well have alot of character development so don't worry about that. And yes they are planning multiple seasons.

There are a lot of character developments and more houses involved than just Targaryens.
There will be about 5-6 episodes of building back stories and character development. There will be about 2-3 time jumps in season. There is basically about 15-20 years of the sewing the seeds of the civil war. You should really watch ser hunts reviews or talking thrones for a better idea. Nonetheless this shit is going down in August!!! #hotd
Having just watched the first episode of HOTD I can tell you this is going to be f**king EPIC huge budget on this and fans are going to love this.
The trailer has 0 spoiler. And the trailer makes people think that daemon and rhaenyra is hated each other and fight for the thrones in reality is not they love each other and marriage uncle and niece i know😅.

i think the show will be good, the director is a true fanboy of a song of ice and fire universe and he knows everything (learn d&d), not to say he surrounded himself with people who know better (GRRM). the characters itself are complex, and we will see much of their bad and good action throughout the series. it's like "the boys", it's really hard to find a character honorable or good like we did in game of thrones.
A Jon Snow show will never see the light of day.

Cersei is queen consort. Any authority she had/has died with Robert. She isn't a blood relative of the king. She becomes the dowager queen/queen mother to Robert's heirs.
Rhaenyra is ACTUALLY the blood of the dragon. A more relevant comparison is when Joffrey dies, whether Myrcella who is older than Tommen has a better flaim

(Joffrey, Tommen, Stannis and Renly) Myrcella & Margaery also died leaving Cersei, the only one left with a strong connection to a former King, to be crowned the first Queen in Westeros. History in that world shows that a woman will always be last in the line of succession on ruling, which is why Rhaenyra being named the heir to the iron throne is a big deal as out of all the amazing Targaryen women before her (Visenya, Rhaenys, Good Queen Alysanne), they all were crowned queen because of a king. Rhaenyra is the first woman to officially have the right to the throne on birthright alone and not through marriage.
