ICI - closed and shifted their entire business from WB 6.Reckitt & Colman/Benckiser- shifted their entire business from WB 7.Jessop -closed 8. J K steel -closed 9. Braithwaite 10. All Jute & textile industries- sick/many one closed 11. Bata- reduced operations in WB 12. Britannia Engineering - closed 13.Britannia biscuit -closed 14.Phillips - closed 16.NISCO - closed Besides many more large industries thousands of medium and small units either they have shifted their units or shut down operations. Not only that many big business houses have shifted their office/operations to other cities , for example Orient fan has shifted their business to Bhubaneswar. There are hundreds of examples of such types. An wise citizen of WB will never hesitate to accept that the overall environment in West Bengal has been deteriorated to such an extent that it fails to nourish business, economic, industries, social and cultural upliftment. You are trying very hard to draw colourful picture of WB , but nothing better can occur in present state. Law and order, education, health, social fabric everything have been ruined by politicians. My request to all the people who love West Bengal please come out and speak how change the scenario for the generation to come.
