Congratulations on being included in the David Austin handbook! What an achievement. I’m so proud of you guys. Happy holidays to you both, and may next year be even more wonderful!
What a terrific look-back/wrap-up of 2024! Its been great fun! You two are my favorite youtube find of the year ❤. Looking forward to a new year of gardening ahead!
I’m so excited to see all of the amazing things for 2025 in your garden. Congratulations on the catalog and especially the David Austin. Rose book! Thanks for inspiring me on my gardening journey.
I didn’t know how much I would love Pulmonaria. Not only did Pink a Blue bloom for months but when not in bloom the texture and leaf patterns sparkle. Wish I had more shade because love love love it.
Gardening friends are best! Thanks for being our incentive to get outside and enjoy "getting our hands dirty, so to speak. Really looking forward to the new david austin roses and gardening with you. Happy Holidays to you!
Great 2024 recap. I’m really looking forward to next year as you develop the new mixed boarder. In my opinion, you’re both so talented at creating those designs. Your attention to detail and combining of plant color, form and texture are amazing. Happy Holidays!
Oh you sweet beautiful handsome boys,.. i have loved watching your journey… wish you well over the holidays and can’t wait to see next seasons garden adventures
1st of all...love the outfits. 2nd I'm so grateful that you guys started your channel. I have so enjoyed watching them and they have brought me joy whilst I recovered from surgery this year. Can't wait for the vids next year. May it be a great gardening yr for all. Many good wishes to you both! Merry Christmas! 🎅
I love watching your videos!! You 2 are a wealth of knowledge when it comes to the garden!!! I store my dahlia tubers in my garage, and it gets down to 20 degrees F. I just put them in paper bags, with some shredded paper and mine have stored just fine. I plant them in the early summer and they bloom every year. You’d be surprised how tough dahlias are 😊
I learn so much for you two. You are an incredible inspiration and honestly, you're my first go-to for garden ideas. I've often thought about doing my own you tube channel, but I think it would be too much work. So thank you for making the time to share your beautiful sanctuary with us.
Wow gardeners supply used your garden for their catalog!! I would just be over the moon! You must be so proud! Also, your backdrop really is so beautiful! Deanna
I’m so excited to spend 2025 in your Garden of Love with you. You two gentlemen are such a pleasure to watch and learn from.wishing you a joyful holiday season and a hearty gardening season! 💐 thank you very much for hours of entertainment, education and dreams.
I loved your purple and yellow theme last year. I have bold jewel tones in my garden but i stuck with purple, yellow and white for my early spring flowering bulbs and i was really pleased with the colour scheme. Looking forward to seeing them come up again in the spring! I’m also excited to see your new scheme this spring.
Congratulations on all your success this past season! Really enjoy your channel and will be using your purple and yellow theme in my pots next season. Thanks for all you share with us!
I thoroughly enjoyed this video! Loved looking back at everything you two did in 2024 as I went along with you. I think I found your YT channel as your pansies were delivered. I was immediately hooked by your happy zeal at all things gardening. And I had the pleasure to meet you when you spoke at the Hyannis Country Garden during Hydrangea Week on Cape Cod (that’s me in the front row with the turquoise blouse on). I was quite the fan-girl that day! I’m also a veggie gardener so I’m looking forward to what you’ll be doing with your veggie raised beds in 2025 too. Merry Christmas!
Thank you for the informative critique of your 2024 beautiful gardens. Can't wait for 2025 garden adventures. Merry Christmas and good health and gardening in the new year🎉
I keep my dahlia tubers in my unheated garage. I’m zoned 6 I put them in individual bags then put them in heavy shavings in a cardboard box. The store beautifully. I also keep my elephant ears and mandevilla in there too.
Thank you so much, that was a great reminder of where you were and where you’re going and I’m so looking forward to the journey! Merry Christmas Christopher and Eric, you’re both awesome! Zone3 Manitoba 🇨🇦🎄👏
Hi Eric & Christoper, I store my dahlias in my garage on top of a planter in a box wrapped in a moving blanket. I’m in West Michigan and we use the garage daily. They were fine. Happy Holidays! 🐝🌼
I enjoy watching the two of you! I have the same problem with storing my tubers. I have however found the one cold place in my NJ 7a home. The front hall closet that has an outside wall. This closet stays between 35 and 45 degrees. All of my tubers have done well in this space.
Love your garden but now I’m obsessed with your shelves. Can you give us a tour of your house plants. Would love to see what’s on the top shelf in those big baskets.
I've always looked to your garden for inspiration! After planting 30 roses over the past 2 seasons, I have 5 new David Austin Roses coming this spring. This past season I tried my hand at cut flowers from seed in 6 new raised beds and was thrilled at my success! I learned so much! I'm trying dahlias from tubers this spring for the first time. I'm planning to overwinter them in my new greenhouse that has been quite cold this winter, even with a couple heaters. I think the average temp has been between 40 - 50's F. Looking forward to 2025 with both of you in the garden! Also, Congratulations on being included in the David Austin catalogue, such a nice surprise when I opened it! Your garden has just skyrocketed this year! 🚀💐 Merry Christmas! 💚🎄
2025 will be my 5th year of gardening. I can't wait to slow down a bit. I think in a year or two I am going to need to find someone who can work in my garden. Every year, I feel like there are so many new plants that I need to add to my garden. With close to an acre, I'm trying to. I just hate weeding.
Congratulations Your garden is my inspiration for my small suburban garden 🪴 especially the hydrangea room. Love the background behind you and your outfits are adorable 🪴🪴🪴
Merry Xmas!!!!!❤❤❤❤❤ and l know that l can speak for many when l say , No, the pleasure has been ours! You ae Amazing , you give us sanity in a very insane time! You deserve all your wishes!!❤❤❤😊😊
Gardening is an evolving art. As I did my own fall cleanup, I found myself already planning for next spring. Loved your reflections today. Merry Christmas and can’t wait to see what 2025 brings to your garden (And mine, too).
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from my 6b/7a garden in PA. Thank you for sharing your garden and knowledge. Have learned alot in 2024. Can't wait for 2025. 🌲
What a year! Congrats! Lovely garden with immense planning, work and dedication, well done. You guys should really consider getting a proper greenhouse- it would really be an icing on the 🍰 Plus you could keep some exotic plants, lovely camellias, tree ferns.. ahhh 😌 smth to think about in a new year🎉 happy gardening!
Im in zone 7 NJ. I dont dig dahlias - i figure they get to stay if the just regrow where they are. Most have come back for several years. I would imagine your garage is a more friendly winter environment than my ground
Merry Christmas!! I struggle with the same dahlia/canna overwintering issue. My carport not heated, so too cold and my house to warm. I stuck some in my attic- insulated but not actively heated, and some in my fridge drawer. 🤞
The Regenerative Gardening channel out of Colorado says to leave dahlia tubers in ground and mulch them heavily and they will grow back. I grew dahlias from seed for the first time this past year and used her method for overwintering tubers and I live in NH. Will see how things go next spring, but will start more by seed this winter in case it doesn’t go well. I have a heated cellar like you with no root cellar and don’t want to invest in or make room for a refrigerated storage unit - ugh. Merry Christmas.
Does the variety of Morning Glory you are planting spread? I planted Morning Glory seeds 20 years ago and I'm still pulling seedlings and sometimes vines out of shrubs if I miss the seedling.
In the past, what did you do with the torn out sod? I'm in the same predicament. We have a bi-weekly compost service, but it's not enough lol. I have heavy clay soil so I can only dispose of so much sod at a time. I have a big pile in my back yard and still have way more to dig yet 😂 Will be 2030 before it's all gone
Congratulations on being included in the David Austin handbook! What an achievement. I’m so proud of you guys. Happy holidays to you both, and may next year be even more wonderful!
Thank you so much! Happy Holidays to you as well!
Good people attract good people! I've loved gardening with y'all this year and look forward to what's to come! ❤
What a terrific look-back/wrap-up of 2024! Its been great fun! You two are my favorite youtube find of the year ❤. Looking forward to a new year of gardening ahead!
We’re so glad you enjoyed it! We have tons of ideas for the new year
The elevated urn sure did elevate that area of the garden. Bravo
It was a huge change
I’m so excited to see all of the amazing things for 2025 in your garden. Congratulations on the catalog and especially the David Austin. Rose book! Thanks for inspiring me on my gardening journey.
We love getting to share our space...have a great holiday
I didn’t know how much I would love Pulmonaria. Not only did Pink a Blue bloom for months but when not in bloom the texture and leaf patterns sparkle. Wish I had more shade because love love love it.
It is truly one of the best!

Happy and Merry!
Great 2024 recap. I’m really looking forward to next year as you develop the new mixed boarder. In my opinion, you’re both so talented at creating those designs. Your attention to detail and combining of plant color, form and texture are amazing. Happy Holidays!
Thanks! We are looking forward to the mixed border too, it's going to be so fun!
I love your backdrop. Just gorgeous. Like your gardens
Thanks, it's one of our favorite spots!
So excited for next year! Please take us along to show your seed starting!
We certainly will!
Thank you for a great tour of 2024. 🎉
It was fun to look back!

Good to know...we should try that!
I am excited for Dannahue too. Can’t wait for Emma Bridgewater and Penelope Lively to come to US.
I will probably plant a TON of Emma...that rose is insane

Thank you!!
I cut my smoke bush to the ground yearly as well. It does control the size however it is spreading. I will need to try and address that- not easy!!!!😮
Good to know!

Thanks to the two of you for allowing us to stay inspired!
Thank you for watching!
Just want to say how much I enjoy watching videos from y’all. ❤
That means a lot, thank you!
I ordered the handbook of roses before your video even ended, lol.

Happy holidays!
Hi Eric & Christoper, I store my dahlias in my garage on top of a planter in a box wrapped in a moving blanket. I’m in West Michigan and we use the garage daily. They were fine. Happy Holidays! 🐝🌼
That's actually where I have mine currently, the crate is up high. I'm not going to toss them, but I'm expecting shriveled mess in the spring
I enjoy watching the two of you! I have the same problem with storing my tubers. I have however found the one cold place in my NJ 7a home. The front hall closet that has an outside wall. This closet stays between 35 and 45 degrees. All of my tubers have done well in this space.

We might just do that

The weeding is annoying...that's why we plant so thickly, can't see them!
Danke für die Übersetzung ins deutsche. Ich wünsche Ihnen ein schönes Weihnachtsfest und ein gesundes neues Jahr 2025. Grüße aus Deutschland 🇩🇪
Thank you for watching!
Merry Christmas to you both!

Maybe some day!
You guys are just so enjoyable to watch and learn and dream Thank you so much for all the hard work you do to make these videos my favorite
Thank you! We love to share our space!
I put my dahlias wrapped in Saran Wrap in a spare fridge I keep at 42ish degrees. So far so good but this is my first time trying it.
Interesting...I've never tried that!
You have been my favorite gardening find of 2024. Thank you both so much!
Thanks so much for watching!
You guys are so fun! So much to appreciate from your garden 2024! Merry Christmas! 🌲🎅🏻
Merry Christmas to you too!

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from my 6b/7a garden in PA. Thank you for sharing your garden and knowledge. Have learned alot in 2024. Can't wait for 2025. 🌲
Same here! Looking forward to sharing 2025 with you!
What an amazing journey, guys - have certainly enjoyed going along. Looking forward to next year. Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas to you too!
Oh I dream about it so often!! haha
Im in zone 7 NJ. I dont dig dahlias - i figure they get to stay if the just regrow where they are. Most have come back for several years. I would imagine your garage is a more friendly winter environment than my ground
It was 34 degrees in the garage according to my car the other day!
Merry Christmas!!
I struggle with the same dahlia/canna overwintering issue. My carport not heated, so too cold and my house to warm. I stuck some in my attic- insulated but not actively heated, and some in my fridge drawer. 🤞
ooh good idea
Hey guys! I have a video on where to store dahlias when you have a heated basement and an unheated garage! Hope that helps! Deanna
I will find that immediately!
@@growformegardeningaww that’s awesome! Hope it helps! The storage part is at the end of the video😊
The Regenerative Gardening channel out of Colorado says to leave dahlia tubers in ground and mulch them heavily and they will grow back. I would have tried that but I'm not sure we are keeping them in that spot next year! We will discover the solution!! Merry and Happy!
When is 2025 tour? Would love to make a visit.
We won't be able to do the Garden Conservancy tour this year! We are already booked with something that day unfortunately
Does the variety of Morning Glory you are planting spread? I planted Morning Glory seeds 20 years ago and I'm still pulling seedlings and sometimes vines out of shrubs if I miss the seedling.
I'm not sure actually. Since we will plant it in the raised bed we should be ok with seedlings
We actually have tossed it over the back hill! haha
