Oneplus 9 Pro is a clear winner for me in this competition. Macro mode and portrait is a key for me. But both phones support RAW and it can deliver great results.
Yeah, it is possible. But the point here was to use the default auto setting of portrait mode. The natural bokeh is fantastic when you make closeup photos or videos on smaller objects.
Mi 11 ultra because not only does an excellent job but also looks way better and bolder, a real statement from xiaomi and it's kinda the type of smartphone that once you try it, you have to stay ultra
Mi11 ultra all the way my friend. There is a comparative between Oppo find x3 pro and One+ 9 pro and the 9 pro dominated all the way. If take this video in consideration then it is Mi11 Ultra the clear winner.

Hey, very good point! I thought about including RAW, but given the youtube compression - wouldn't be something to be visible on a video here. 12-bit is quite a thing, but it's useful for some specific purposes only (mostly when you are targeting a lot better color grading for pro-work). If you're going to compare the telephoto cameras, then you should keep in mind that the Mi 11 ultra has a 5x optical zoom vs the 3.3x optical zoom on the oneplus 9 pro. Since you cropped the oneplus 9 pros image to compare the mi 11 ultras 5x optical zoom with the oneplus 9 pro 5x digital zoom, you should've compared a 3.3x digital zoom from the mi 11 ultra with the oneplus 9 pros 3.3x optical zoom as well for a fair zoom comparison. Furthermore, higher optical zoom capabilities doesn't necessarily translate to better zoom camera. I would much rather have a phone with only a good 2x optical zoom than a phone with exclusively a 10x optical zoom and worse 2x digital zoom.
Yeah, makes sense. There was a passionate comparison about this with the comparison to S21 Ultra. In any case - Oneplus either has not too usable zoom lens, or slightly worse quality.
You don't need 2x optical zoom. You just need to take picture from main camera and crop which gives you better image than dedicated telephoto 2x zoom. And you can also do this for 3.3x zoom too but with less details. But, you can't do that for 5x zoom. so, Mi 11 ultra is a clear winner for zoom camera.
I had the one plus 9 pro and traded it in for the LG V60. The Mi 11 ultra( bought one brand new for 650) dominated the one plus 9 pro, especially after the software updates!
Well... it literally doesn't! 😇 But that doesn't matter that much. Both phones are excellent. I really wouldl ike to see how Sony will respond in the coming months.
Auto focus on video is better on oneplus 9 but you didnt add a point + the firstsample of your night photo its a clear winner for oneplusand you skip again to add a point.
Great comparison, that you showed crops made me subscribe. The artificial sharpening on the Oneplus looks horrendous. The Xiaomi has better colours and more natural looking pictures indeed.
Pick the one that you like more. this is just a camera comparison and there are a lot more components to thimk about. Make a list with your favorite features and priorities.
It was totally excellent comparison. Summary : Was OnePlus kinda ''Hasselblad'' thing !... Just Love this one. I was just expecting that you could include an object while shooting with main sensor .
This is exactly what I am trying to decide right now too. The Mi 11 Ultra is for sure a lot heavier and bulkier. Makes better photos, and seems to have a little better battery life. Performance-wise - they are similar.
Phones are always primarily used to tide you through daily tasks like staying connected with your community and calling. Anyone who came down here for advise on which phone you are supposed to get based on the camera setup is going to be disappointed. Hundreds of reviews comparing phones in terms of the camera are purely non informative cos the camera is just a marketing tool to mark up the price of a phone more aggressively. There is no major differences of the camera setup in phones in the same price zone. They are roughly all the same and mainly the only noticable difference is the color style whether it's more of a flat hue in one brand or oversaturated color to it. And each year companies are making more delusive stuff to the camera and are you sure you change your phone each year for little improvement on it? Mi 11 Ultra is heavy af and both of the two phones suck at ease of use. You need a phone not a phone-shaped camera. I am a pro photographer and these above are what my thoughts are.
While all of that is theoretically correct - it is practically ... not right. I think smartphones are the major reason to see big camera players to start innovating and pushing towards higher FPS and shooting modes. If we exclude professional work - most people make majority of their photos using a phone. Just very easy. If you grab the phone you've been using 3-4 years ago, and compare a video to a video that a flagship records nowadays - difference is not just obvious, it's huge. And all of that is thanks to image sensors and processing. I totally agree with you about the price - it's just gone crazy and not sure if it's worth getting a flagship, or it's better to get a mid-ranger and get a normal camera with 1-inch sensor, for instance. Maybe the major flaw with smartphones right now is the variable fps - I still cannot find a phone that records constant frame rates. But they're getting better and better and slowly replacing some bigger cameras.
If i had to choose one,i'll go for oneplus 9pro ..love the dynamic range, bokeh effect and xiaomi looks overexposed and too bright Btw,very nice comparison and love the way you talk bro!
I appreciate all the work you put in to making this comparison. The oneplus pro has horrendous over sharpening, and I have noticed that most if not all the high end phones do this. The Mi 11 ultra is a breath of fresh air in that the images are more natural. I can add sharpening if I want.... but you cannot take away sharpening once it is applied.
Very well said. Thing is that most people these days seem to appreciate oversaturated & oversharpened social-media-style photos. And looks like some smartphone makers tend to deliver that...
Isaque - while I often review Mi-devices, I am (well, used to be) something like a Oneplus fanboy. You can check some of my older videos - where I often say my opinion about MIUI and other design features; In fact - I have spared some of the Mi advantages: 8K recording with each of the sensors, the lovely rear display for selfies, the ability to record from two sensors simultaneously, the better microhones, etc. I just tried to switch all additional features and focus on pure image quality in the most common scenarios. And thank you very much for your feedback! Always trying to make these videos better.

Hey Mavin, thanks for the question. I wanted to be more focused on a single photo and analyze it properly, as opposed to seeing too many and missing the details. Overall - the Mi 11 Ultra camera is not as great about selfies, but in return you have a great bunch of main cameras.
We can expect significant difference if there's significant technological difference. Right now we see the battle of the best mobile phone image sensors - Samsung vs Sony. And to me it's quite impressive seeing Samsung leading the race!
In the beginning your camera compression is biased. Anybody with good eyes can clearly see the 9 Pro is producing sharper better color actuate pictures, the pictures from the 11 ultra looks flat and dull.
Hey Kendre, thanks for the comment. Thing is that "sharper" doesn't mean a photo is "better". You can always add sharpness to a photo, but removing it once it's there is sometimes impossible.
If you need nice natural-bokeh-portrait, you need to get a full frame camera with a lens that has wide aperture. This here is mostly software-based bokeh and while it gets a lot better, it's still not perfect.
You completely forgot the fact that the Mi 11 Ultra can bring a selfie with the rear-view display lol

When comparing the video you should compare their mics too how they sound like.
There is a selfie camera comparison with video and audio as far as I remember.
Mi 11 ultra vs s21 ultra please!
working on it! :)
Good to know! Sounds like Oxygen OS got even Worse. Mi 11 Ultra is a masterpiece!
@@TechMishka One plus phones suck. DEAL WITH IT!
@@thewalkingvloggingman7152 Xiaomi phones suck twice 😎
Completely agree with your all points...nice comparison bro
Thanks a ton
It looks like he literally don't want his mi 11 ultra to loose..🤣
Well... it literally doesn't!
I might have missed that - will check that.
Xiaomi selfie cam be like just flip me dude😂
Hahahahha, totally!
Mi ultra is better
Great comparison, that you showed crops made me subscribe. The artificial sharpening on the Oneplus looks horrendous. The Xiaomi has better colours and more natural looking pictures indeed.
Thanks for the sub! I'm glad you appreciate the crops - it was quite a lot of editing to make some of them 😆
The cellular mobile telephone definitely does a great job. The images look awesome. I feel like, I dunno, we're living in a futuristic wonder-world.
👍👍
Which phn have best camera for photography Vivo x60 pro plus or mi11 ultra
It will mostly depend on your experience with the camera and your overall experience about making photos.
Both setups are pretty good.
3:25 the image on Mi 11 ultra isn't wider if you really look on the edges. It's just more distorted on the ultra and lot worse in my opinion.
It actually is - you can check the samples. But doesn't matter that much I guess.
amazing review! thank you
My pleasure!
Totally confused. I thought of buying oneplus but now i cant make decision
Pick the one that you like more. this is just a camera comparison and there are a lot more components to thimk about.
Make a list with your favorite features and priorities.
Watching it on my Mi 11 Ultra
Nice! 👍👍
I hate the over sharpening on the oneplus. It just doesn't look good
Yeah, kind of weird. But looks good on social media 👍🙂
thanks for the review, can you upload some .dng files from xiaomi?
Yeah, will do some more shots in the coming days and will add them to the sharepoint.
mi 11 u is a whole new level
It is indeed
I am watching your video first time... it's amazing videos.. nice..😉
Hey, glad that you like it.
It was totally excellent comparison. Summary : Was OnePlus kinda ''Hasselblad'' thing !... Just Love this one. I was just expecting that you could include an object while shooting with main sensor .
Haha, totally! :) As for the object - let me think about that for the next comparison.
currently Using OP 8Pro Should i moved to Mi 11 Ultra??
This is exactly what I am trying to decide right now too. The Mi 11 Ultra is for sure a lot heavier and bulkier. Makes better photos, and seems to have a little better battery life. Performance-wise - they are similar.
Xiaomi MI 11 ultra anytime of the week
It's Ultra good!
Watching from OnePlus9 pro... Its awesome!!!
Lovely! Great phone you have! Keep on enjoying it.
Does mi 11 ultra have video stutter?
There used to be to some extent with the first software version. Running 12.5 MIUI since a few days and it's excellent.
I think mi 11 ultra is bettar for telephoto..
Yeah! It is a LOT better for telephoto.
You know that the OnePlus 9 Pro's main camera is supposed to be the ultra-wide right??
Not really. The ultra-wide is a different sensor.
Mi 11 ultra 💪😉
It's getting stronger and stronger!
If i had to choose one,i'll go for oneplus 9pro ..love the dynamic range, bokeh effect and xiaomi looks overexposed and too bright
Btw,very nice comparison and love the way you talk bro!
Thanks Ahmad for saying this. Really nice to see your opinion and the reasons why you favor Oneplus 9 Pro!
Mi 11 ultra is the best smartphone ❣️
👍
Thanks man,great video!!
Thanks for the support, mate!
Superb comparison Sir. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks a ton
Amazing landscapes from Sofia, Bulgaria. 😀

I got struck between Mi 11 ultra and One plus 9 pro.I wanna know the best in them in all categories....
in an other test samsung was better than one plus and the xiaomi Phone is just a bit better than the samsung so buy the xiaomi
1+9pro's main sensor is trash. So mi
The Camera is one of the many aspects. Write down your top priorities about a smartphone and the choice will become a lot easier.
Finally u got this
Yeah! Was quite fun.
Isaque - while I often review Mi-devices, I am (well, used to be) something like a Oneplus fanboy. You can check some of my older videos - where I often say my opinion about MIUI and other design features;
In fact - I have spared some of the Mi advantages: 8K recording with each of the sensors, the lovely rear display for selfies, the ability to record from two sensors simultaneously, the better microhones, etc. I just tried to switch all additional features and focus on pure image quality in the most common scenarios.
And thank you very much for your feedback! Always trying to make these videos better.
I think you are a mi 11 ultra fan .
I am trying to choose my next phone since 3 months already. So far the Mi 11 Ultra is closest. Let's see about S21.
oneplus needs to make ultra phones, not just flagships
Yeah... Who knows, maybe they may replace the "T"-series with "Ultra"-series?
But the Oneplus is about 200€ cheaper.
And the Oneplus will get an Update for the Camera, or not?
Both phones will get camera updates. And that's right - Oneplus 9 Pro is a bit cheaper.
Oneplus completely cropped a portrait photo head off the picture, "Oneplus deserve a point".
That the moment i know I could pause the video and move to other channel :D
You can see the originals yourself.
Very good review , subscribed
Thanks for the sub!
The real ULTRA
Don't tell this to Samsung fanboys! 😳
Mi 11 ftw it's the only phone I would get other then Samsung at this point which I did get the s21 ultra and am so so happy I did blew away my expectations lol
Glad to hear you enjoy your gear!
What is the FOV of Oneplus 9 pro Ultra Wide angle camera.?
I remember seeing somewhere 123 degrees... They sw 14mm equivalent.
Is it me or the mi 11 ultra 4k vids are somewhat laggy?
There are a few frames that are wrongly captured - it's caused by a bug I discovered with the previous software version. No longer a trouble with the latest software.
In my opinion oneplus have an edge , with oneUI vs miUI .... Oneplus is the king.
Maybe you mean OxygenOS - for Oneplus. I also like it better, but MIUI has a bit more options.
Good comparison! both doing good job but ultra still not get any camera software firmware update
Actually I've received an update the day after we finished the shooting. And it works now a lot smoother and unlocks even more features.
@@TechMishka That's good news
I prefer mi 11 ultra over oneplus👍
Can you do mi 11 pro vs vivo x60 pro🙏
I don't have the X60 Pro around, but I've seen a bunch of comparisons online already.
Also the Mi11 ultra costs much more than oneplus 9pro
It does!
bro why only 1 selfie example...provide 4-5 fotos in different places & different conditions :3
Hey Mavin, thanks for the question. I wanted to be more focused on a single photo and analyze it properly, as opposed to seeing too many and missing the details.
Overall - the Mi 11 Ultra camera is not as great about selfies, but in return you have a great bunch of main cameras.
If you buy one of this phone which one would you buy???
I am using the Mi 11 Ultra ever since it got released and am quite happy with it.
Dude....which phone u preffer for me ???
Oh, you're going to like both of them!
The link of mi 11 ultra u gave is very very expensive
It still is very expensive everywhere. Let's wait until the global version arrives to most places - price will settle down.
How about the OnePlus 9pro Hasselblad pro mode?? 🤷🏼♂️ Nobody use that on a review video
Most people use the camera default settings. It's good, but don't expect miracles.
I've expected that Xiaomi will be significantly better in this battle
Pre release software, op9pro already had 3 updates dedicated to camera lol
We can expect significant difference if there's significant technological difference. Right now we see the battle of the best mobile phone image sensors - Samsung vs Sony. And to me it's quite impressive seeing Samsung leading the race!
Well, you didn't mention that you can use main camera on Mi 11 ultra for better selfies because of a little screen on the back of the phone ;)
True that - didn't focus that much on it. You can even record 15-second videos, which is also quite cool.
OnePlus 9 pro I went with as I don't like the half of phone camera hump size on the Xiaomi
Many people say it looks like Amongus characters 😏
In the beginning your camera compression is biased. Anybody with good eyes can clearly see the 9 Pro is producing sharper better color actuate pictures, the pictures from the 11 ultra looks flat and dull.
Hey Kendre, thanks for the comment. Thing is that "sharper" doesn't mean a photo is "better". You can always add sharpness to a photo, but removing it once it's there is sometimes impossible.
Subscribed bc of the way the vid is showing both at the same time and bc you comment back
Thanks mate!
why didnt mi 11 ultra have a nice bookeh portrait?
If you need nice natural-bokeh-portrait, you need to get a full frame camera with a lens that has wide aperture.
This here is mostly software-based bokeh and while it gets a lot better, it's still not perfect.
When Mi 11 Ultra updated to MIUI 12.5.4 do the camera comparison 👍
That's the plan
Xiaomi is killer🔥🔥 it will catch up with some updates...
I hope so too!
Xiaomi updates usually ruin everything)
