I'm still thinking about them years later 😅 the gen 2 gr yaris has vent in the stock defuser where you suggest in this video. I'm wanting to buy that and put on my yaris.
Look cool, and it definitely would let some air out, would be interesting to block them, test, then open them and test, maybe a interesting video for that 🤔🙂
I have them in my GR and I cut the arches as well so that the rear tires are venting through them. Also, I left a small lip of about 5 mm at the top and the outer side from the edge of the bumper for the fit.
Looks good, I'm going to get some of these in Jan - I wonder if it's worth using a duct from the wheel arch to stop muck getting sprayed into the back of the bumper area from the wheel arch - though means it just sprays out the back? I have been interested if these drop anything on 0-60's but as you said it's a nice mix of function and looks.
so cool! It seems a bit ''difficult/dangerous'' to install, toms doesnt give a mounting template? have you seen the new ravé works vents? they look different than toms.I would like to watchmore videos of the yaris gr, it looks amaizing
Don't know whether it's efficient but sure looks great ! Is that part of TOM'S kit ? They also have a "diffuser" with a central oval cut-out for their specific silencer.
Hey Phil! I've had the parts lying around for months and haven't dared to start with the saw yet...😮 then I'll get started soon. What do you think of putting the cooler there for HRNSHN Racing's HEL Performance Differential Oil Cooler Kit?
do you have any data like top speed at the track, that proves the aero benefit?. ive already removed the central rear light and looking at this idea. thanks
you are a crazy madman hahaha I takes some bravery to drill into a (almost) brand new bumper! 👏

Any pictures of the install? I would love to see them!
Hey Phil, by the looks of it the bottom lip of the rear bumper acts like a giant air scoop? You'd almost want to cut most of that away?
I‘d want to remove it completely. 😂🤣
But not for now.
There will come a time where we will start developing Aero for this car.
But not this winter.

Letsgoooo some more Yaris tunning ❤

I also think I’ve seen the Tom’s vents with a template for you to use
They give you a template for the cut. 👍
I'm thinking about Rave ones, interior trim as well, since its the only LHD I found. But didn't see any consumer photos of products fitted...

It‘s a TOM‘s part yes. But also works alone.
Thanks for the video Phil , they look awesome.....if you know....tell me is it legal to do it in Germany ?
No idea. 😅
You‘d have to ask a german Tuner for that.
Try HRNSHN Racing. He has the TOM‘s Rear Wing street legal.
Looks great!

Possible.
I have three HEL Performance Cooling Kits on order.
Will see where to install everything when i get them.

Do the vents come with a template for the opening?
Yes they do.
They look nice don't they Serge? :D
@sandersassen they do, i already have them but my heart hurts when i think about cutting through the bumper 😀
Wouldn't the additional flow disturb the wake/turbulance at the rear? You should do an air tunnel test of before and after the installation.
😂🤣
Yes Sir. I set up a Gofundme Page and when it reaches 50‘000€ i‘ll book a windtunnel for a day to test all the parts. 😁👍
@@RotheliRacing yesss. Post the link please.

Weil ich nicht einfach Löcher in die Heckstossstange schneiden will. 😁

Hard to say how they look in that light, maybe shoot some footage outside ?
Should of sprayed them gloss black
lol i think your tape measure is out, too high.
Dommage posé de travers
Ricer 👎🏼
🤣😂
For sure.
