They always sounded like different takes during the solo on the album...Yngwie definitely just played all the parts straight through...what a technician.
Yeah, I am not a fan of the Ovation nylon string guitars he has been using for some time now. The transducer in those guitars makes the notes sound synthetic and plastic, almost like a child's popper toy...Bup-bup, bup-bup, Pop, pop, pop! For the first few Rising Force albums and tours, he used acoustics made by Alvarez/K. Yairi. Those ones had darker and richer timbres that (to my ears) seemed to complement his compositions and improvised note choices much, much better. During the Odyssey period, he switched to a Gibson Chet Atkins model CE-1 "Classical Electric" (really a classical-styled guitar with a piezo-electric pickup and a 1/4" phono jack to connect to an amp or P.A.), and though bright-sounding compared to the Alvarez, it also had a very good tone (think "Dreaming...Tell Me", as a recorded example).
Exactly! The nylon he used on Diciples Of Hell & Trilogy op5, Crying was the shit! His new one really does go polity pop pop ping. It enables his to play faster. That's not why I love his acoustic playing though. It's his not choice
Best singer Yngwie ever had... Best singer anyone ever had.
Well, Soto was areally, REALLY great singer. Actually I prefer Soto, but it's personnal.
Simply Amazing ! It sounds just like the Album. I wish Mark Boals would come back and Tour with Yngwie once again.
