I confided to my adult daughter that she is not to praise me for being a single mom. It was hard even though I made it look easy, i still struggle with not being available more and missing out on events and not having the money for certain things. And i only had one at the time. This lady has six kids. There's no way to be fully present without a man/husband. Thats no flex. Unless you were married and he left you.

I couldn’t agree with you more. I have a 23 yr old son. I cannot imagine having multiple children to ensure that are being taking care of properly. As I’ve grown (in age and mentality), I’ve realized what a deficit I was in and how deficient I’ve been in several aspects of our lives. I still cannot be great in all areas because I’m doing it all by myself. It’s certainly not a flex! I am doing well despite my circumstances but I do not recommend it!

Let me help you out. There are so many RNs that ONLY went to community College. The program is still competitive and tough. BSN in nursing doesn't give you much more of a salary or more education. You get a BSN when wanting to be a NP or something along that line.

This is no judgment. I promise. People are allowed to do what they want. But I’m 37 with one child and I’ve only been pregnant once having been with more than one man, just being transparent. I was married to his father as well. There are contraceptives that don’t always work and there are extenuating circumstances, we all know that, but there are ways to NOT get pregnant. There really are. I’ve also been abstinent the majority of my son’s life since getting divorced but I’m no angel. There are WAYS to NOT get pregnant if you REALLY don’t want to get pregnant.

I was married to his father as well. There are contraceptives that don’t always work and there are extenuating circumstances, we all know that, but there are ways to NOT get pregnant. There really are. I’ve also been abstinent the majority of my son’s life since getting divorced but I’m no angel. There are WAYS to NOT get pregnant if you REALLY don’t want to get pregnant.
