Never Give a Sucker an Even Break is a classic comedy released by Universal Pictures in 1941. It stars W. C. Fields, who also wrote the original story, under the pseudonym Otis Criblecoblis. Fields plays himself, promoting an extravagant and surreal screenplay he has written. He stars with singing star Gloria Jean, as well as Leon Errol and Franklin Pangborn, in supporting roles. Margaret Dumont, best known for her work with the Marx Brothers plays Mrs. Hemoglobin.
