The Jack Cades, track 1, Dreikönigskeller, Frankfurt, 8 march 2024

The Jack Cades have been playing together since 2017. The band started when Mike (Thee Vicars, The Baron Four) & Elsa (The Missing Souls) started writing a few songs for a joint project, and recorded them at Mole's (The Embrooks, The Baron Four, The Galileo 7) studio in Kent: North Down Sound. Mole recorded drums for these songs and became an official member of The Jack Cades. These songs feature John Gibbs (The Masonics, Thee Wildebeests) on bass and all were released on their first album "Music For Children" on the label Dirty Water Records. They later asked Alexandra (Speedball Jr.) to join them as their official bassist. In April 2019 they all went to Toe Rag Studios in London and recorded their second album "Perfect View", recorded by Liam Watson. This album was released in 2020 on Beluga records (Sweden) and Bickerton records (Spain).
They have now released their third album "Something New", recorded at Gizzard Studios (London), in May 2023 on Beluga Records (Sweden).
The Jack Cades have played in the UK, Germany, Spain & France. They are heavily inspired by 1960s garage bands but also have other, more recent, influences, which you can hear in their unique sound.
