You nailed it, man. Thanks for making this cover. Interpol is a great band with many great songs and I'd love to see you make some more covers of their stuff. The Scale would be beautiful. Thanks again for sharing and congratulations for your awesome work.
Great again! If you’re venturing outside of the first two albums, can I request “If you really love nothing”? It’d be awesome! If you’re going back, I really think you could knock Leif Ericsson out of the park!
i literally just started getting into interpol last year! i'm trying to learn their songs and this is my fav along with evil and stella was a diver. i can't find the tabs for guitar 2 aka paul's part anywhere. it would be great if you had a link to the tabs or something. awesome cover by the way!
You have by far the best covers on youtube , maybe partially because you choose my favorite bands to cover haha but you've got mad skills to execute these covers so flawlessly every time. Your covers are usually entirely on point but i felt like the vocals were mixed very differently compared to how they are on the original but maybe its just been a while since i've heard our love to admire.
Great performance ! Thanks for posting. btw, what is your overall opinion about last Interpol records ? As a musician and production expert, what's your analisys ? PS I'm super fan -quite obsesive- of Interpol, and it's sad that the latest ones are the worse to me... they play and sing amazing but composition and creativity is going worse and worse ... what would be your advise to them ?
Fran Pinyol I definitely still enjoyed El Pintor and Marauder, I think both had really strong moments, but I must also admit I’m still most partial to their classic era with Carlos (despite understanding how they couldn’t get on with one another). I think the Marauder production style with the excessive distortion aesthetic (sorry Dave Fridmann) didn’t do much for me, it made it sound a lot “smaller” whereas their big and booming, crisp (while not totally clean) bass and drum sounds on the first 3 records is a lot of their “vibe”. I also think even El Pintor (and definitely the older records) had more memorable melodies than Marauder, which seemed a little more challenging at times, somewhat like Self Titled (though Self Titled I actually grew to like its experimental moments). But I still admire and support the remaining members’ passion to keep driving forward and try new things. They still have their own sound and style and I’d love to hear what else they can do with it.
@@JoeEdelmann3 Finally I see the same opinion of Dave Fridmann's recent production. He did the same on Every Country's Sun by Mogwai, that super squashed drum sound especially.
Bravo.
Got the wammy for Paul’s chorus part perfect
Things are great in the west coast, thanks for asking
amazing buddy . thanks
You should try Evil o Roland!
Interpol and Radiohead? I really love your content
2 of the best bands of our time, and Joe's one of the best youtubers :)
Super. Thanks man, song brings back memories
Thank you so much
(would to see Stella was a diver too, please)
There is something unbelievably human and inspiring about watching someone do what they truly love and enjoy... let's all do what we love...
Nice cover! Would love to see Stella too!
that was great, I hear mammoth starting next in my brain lol
Bro, play obstacle 2? Pleeese!? 😬❤️
The Rover!
Just this morning I wanted to hear this song!
The only right bass version on youtube :) Great job ! I like it !
FINALLY ANOTHER COVER THAT DOES PAUL'S GUITAR PARTS!

You should do Specialist, man! Great Interpol covers
Got to be honest, you are making my child dreams. I mean, I always wanted to play that songs.
That Epiphone
Just fucking amazing man! Loved it
excellent
This is great man, it’s super rare that one man band covers catch the spirit of the original song and this totally does.
Nice cover man💯💯💯💯💯💯
Under rated song from an under rated album
from an underrated band
@@joaovitoralcantara9171 LOL
Que perro, 👌
awesome cover, guitars need some reverb though
You are amazing
FANTASTIC! Thanks so much!
Fun fact Paul doesn't have a jazzmaster BUT A JAGUAR yes a grunge guitar
Yep! I have a Jaguar but it has humbuckers so I figured the Jazzmaster was at least a little closer to the twang!
@@JoeEdelmann3 oh ya I don't now that
By coincidence this is the first song im learning on the guitar!! Fantastic cover!!!
Good stuff. You should do a cover of Specialist!
Mr Joe! You really nail all my favorite tracks, I think we could take about music for hours together! Keep it up. :)
Fantastic!

Amazing cover! Let's do it more!
Wow! You always make the best covers of my favourite songs. Listening to you from Spain xx
Your sounds are amazing. I’m sure that Paul, Daniel, Carlos and Sam can be absolute proud of you!
I really like the mixing you did on this.
I love your covers bro, and obviously the bands you choose to cover. Much love from Argentina!

Amazing stuff as always!
Awesome cover dude!
I like how half of your “band” is rocking their Interpol T-shirts while the other two are bigger fans of QOTSA lol
Austin Ledley haha an accidental symmetry of filming days!
There's a fight for sure, probably this band it's going todo take differents way, as usually happen with the others bands.
Love the mix! Really on point!
Bro! I really like the way you master your covers, keep it up!
I was hoping you’d cover this, brilliant!
Genial 👌
Awesome, like always, bro 🤘🏼
duuude can i find you in spotify? your quality is amazing and also will check out your original content

That's a great cover, please play Roland one day
Great cover! You could cover QOTSA really well, I’m sure🎶😊 omg.. I said I, no no..I meant you in my original comment..
Steenbean M ☺️ maybe you could too!
В этот раз микс без грува. В оригинале песня жжот много сильнее.
