Oh crap I took the Amtrak Train from NYC to this same Orlando Train Station back in 2010 when I went to Disney World and hopped in a Taxi from the Station. Yes I was there baby !! Didn't even realize at the time that an Ernest Movie was shot there too lol.
There’s an AirBnB directly next door to the building where Ernest dresses up as the old woman, that my wife and I have stayed at several times. We love this movie and had no idea we were so close to a filming location lol.

I was born and raised in Orlando. I annoyed my friends when we recently watched Ernest Saves Christmas. I was naming the streets! I remember when the Shakespeare theater was the Orlando Science Center.
you're very lucky, i would have loved to have met him. i didn't realize he had been on fernwood 2nite often, i used to watch that show, but now i'm old and forget things. :)
Another great vid Adam! I am also a mega huge Ernest fan! I even dressed up as Ernest for Halloween last year and did some tribute videos which you can check out on my channel if you get the chance! One of my favorite things at Disney's MGM Studios was seeing the Backlot Tour not just for Vern's house, but the fact that they used to have Herbie, The Love Bug parked in the driveway! Classic nostalgia!
While you were in Loch Haven Park you could have checked out the "Orlando Fire Museum" it's been closed to the public for years but it's got some interesting exhibits you can see through the windows.. also while in downtown Orlando on Pine and orange you were right near the site of the new "arts" construction ... that cool round tower across from city hall would be a cool thing to investigate .. I think it will be remodeled and incorporated into the new site..
