Yeah, MWIII started off as a "Year 2" DLC for MWII; but then Sledgehammer Games were told it was going to be a full fledged premium release. Feels like a decent DLC (campaign wise); Multiplayer is fun; Zombies is solid. There were rumours of MWII getting a Zombies more of its own back in 2022, (they found gamemode icons etc) but things changed rapidly for MWII unfortunately and it is evident. In an ideal world, this would've been a solid Campaign DLC for MWII's year 2, setting up the actual story beats for "MWIII"; and we would have zombies as well in MWII at the same time.
@@codeinefrosty88 I totally get why ppl is mad about this money grab play. I personally dont mind spending my money in something Im interested as long as I get to consume the content, but there is no excuse tbh
I enjoyed it as well, but I was hit with a “that’s it?” once it ended. It wasn’t that it was short per se, as the amount of missions is typical for a campaign, but the story was paced too slow. I would assume you’d have to rip the screen off the code directly, or reconstruct it yourself by removing the MWIII and doing some filling Or you could look online, someone’s probably already done that.
The main thing that frustrates me about MWIII is how we hardly hear enough music in the campaign or factions. Back in the 2010s themes of campaign and factions went so hard.
I think this game's multiplayer has the biggest skill gap ever seen in the COD series because of its extremely large amount of content. The audio mixing, specially when it came to music, was all over the place in MWII. Same for MWIII unfortunately. Sarah left because of this and something else as well, I believe it was because of the chief audio guy at Infinity Ward not releasing the master files for the album or something.
