Good to see someone finally line up the valve stem to the Goodyear winged foot. Lots of attention to detail on this build.
Yes, and I'll take it out right away and doa 15 minute burnout on those fresh tires!
Look how perfect the panels (seams) line up 🥲
A truly great car and very rare!
BEAUTIFUL SPECIMEN...NICELY EQUIPPED...MY DREAMCAR...NO APOLOGIES!
Beautiful big block Pontiac 😊
All pontiac blocks from the 326 to 455 are the same size. Bore, stroke and main journal size are the only differences.
steering wheel needs to be lined up... for the rest exceptional car! I've the same in automatic and in cameo white. Cheers from France
Any car in this blue looks good to my eyes, although this car it self seems good too.
Amazingly clean! It doesn't look like the shaker is functional. Is that correct? I thought they were all functional 70 to 72? 😊
I'm in the market for a 70 to 72 right now so I'm doing my research
Did the flap only open when the secondaries kicked in? If so I guess that would explain the flap not moving in the video
The scoop opens at about half to 3/4 throttle. Before then, it draws air from the twin snorkels on the air-cleaner housing.
Best regards,
Ben
One of my favorite cars. But I've got to ask after all that work, Why isn't the steering wheel straight when driving down the road?
nice shirt lol
Pontiac doesn’t have big blocks and small blocks like a Chevrolet, but we know what you mean.
Superb example of an early 2nd gen TA. But being from the north, I'ld dump the AC. Too much underhood clutter, more maintenance, expense, and extra weight. Guess southern summers would necessitate it tho.
does the flap on the scoop open at all?
Yes, the scoop opens at about halt to 3/4 throttle. Before then, it draws air from the twin snorkels on the air-cleaner housing.
Best regards,
Ben
P.S. Typo alert: I meant to write...half to 3/4 throttle. NOT "halt"🙂
Wonder what it sold for? Should be a bunch!
steering wheel is not centered.
I don,t see the scoop opening.
I was waiting for some QJ secondary air valve action myself. We needed a romp on an on ramp, to conclude this very nicely done video.
You are not filming well, you are moving too much, u don't have steady hand. Very difficult to watch.
Yes. No restomod no ls, just pure Pontiac.
