Hello Mr and Mrs Wizard, great video Glasto is my favourite place on earth. What good luck to see the aeroplane flying over. I once visited that camp site back in the year 2000 whilst going to the festival. Lovely footage of the Tor , from there you can see Mount Knoll which is the other side of the M5 motorway and you may know Wearily Hill which has the Thorn that Joseph of Arimathea planted from his staff many moons ago. I used to sleep in the tower and when the wind blows it sounds like ladies singing. Looking forward to the Arran video, safe travels.

Looks like you had a great time, sunrise was spectacular, sat here watching with the French doors open listening to a couple of Owls and the bomber photo's made me shiver, then started thinking about those chaps all that time ago and what they endured for us. Not a cheap site but I think lots are pushing prices up. Peak season on a site is my idea of hell these days but maybe I'm turning in to an old curmudgeon. Have a great weekend. Cheers K.

We can never repay the courage of those who fought so hard for our peace can we? 🙏 we did enjoy our little break at the Oaks, but, like you we are not so keen on being on busy sites at the height of summer. Well done Graham and Ellie such a great video I love Glastonbury tor and have visited a few times my cousin lives in west huntspill not far away its great up there you can see for miles and I bet to see both the Lancaster and the sunrise were equally unforgettable I hope cat had a lovely birthday as well and it looked a nice site and a nice base to explore that part of Somerset If you are down next time and want a good meal and home farm cider go to Richs cider it’s at mark near highbridge the food is great and cider as well we go often when around there! Hi Daniel, great to hear from you again. It is such a lovely area and up the Tor is a bit special even with out the sunrise or the Lancaster 🤣. I (Graham) had a bad experience when I was 17. It involved a great party at a friends house and much cider was consumed. Never been able to touch cider since. I literally thought I was going to die the whole of the next day. 😩. I really should try it again my brain says but I still can’t. In fact a few months later the same happened with Rum 😩. Cat and Jack did have a great day although in fact it seemed to last a week. 🙏🐶🐶🚐🧙♂️
The site looks lovely even though it’s a little bit more pricy (all be it some sites heading for over £50/night with energy cost increase) but looks a nice location and you have the security of a campsite too and the facilities looked good so can understand the premium for the area. Loved this one 🥰 We've been to The Old Oaks and stayed in a cabin, it was so memorable. How lovely you got to see the sunset on Cat's birthday too. Something she will always remember; very special.
