Gradually coming around to the idea of De Ligt. Did a bit more research and the consensus is he’s actually done pretty well for Juventus and Bayern. Can’t pin the failings on those teams on him, they’ve just declined. Same way not all of Uniteds players these last 10 years have been shit, they’ve just been in bad teams. He’s on the ball, physically strong, isn’t slow like Maguire. Might be the perfect fit for PL football, especially next to Martinez who needs a more physically dominant CB in the air next to him. From what I’m hearing we want Branthwaite too, so he could be a rotation option for now if it gets done as he’s only had 1 season at Everton playing regular PL football

Underwhelming, uninspiring, and just a signing that is not needed. There are other CBs out there that we can get. He has failed at Juve and at Bayern now he wants to come to United.
