You can always tell who isn't a professional. $45-$60 is what I would expect from someone that does hair for a living. It means they are bomb at what they do, they don't sell themselves short trying to be cheap to appeal to everyone, and they know what their time is worth. Now she said the braiding takes 15 minutes at the most. Let's not forget, she blow dried the hair to stretch it and the cost of products and supplies. Get off the short sightedness and just pay attention to the tutorial. Gone head Magic Fingers. From one professional to another.

My comment was to point out that the price she quoted was not unheard of and to pay attention to the tutorial. You can do better for $30? Or know someone who can do better for $30? Great!!!!!
lmao and yess I can do a better job just have your client bring her own hair and charge $30 to $35 this style doesn't even last long because of the middle it will frizz in about a week and half it's just one big braid that takes about 20mins to complete! how much would you charge because it ain't worth $60
Been doing hair for more than 10+ years and still wouldn’t charge that much! That’s absurd, also I recommend clients to get what works for their hair first before using my own products.
