This is sickening and it’s seriously time for us adults who aren’t pedos to make it stop. What are we going to do to fix this issue.
Demand the UNREDACTED version of the grand jury report be made public. Then arrest all the PEDOPHILIC PRIESTS and every single enabler and facilitator too. Convict them for life and send them to gen pop in prison.
Then, demand 24/7/365 body cameras be worn by ALL priests ALL the time EVERYWHERE in the world FOREVER. ALL the footage is broadcast to a third party website always. All this at the church's expense. Don't take 'no' for an answer on ANY of these points. If they refuse, communal withdrawal of all parishioners and their money from the Catholic Church everywhere in the world.
Easy... remove the vatican church. All roots lead to the Vatican its as clear as day.
Step One: Stop forcing kids into religion.
Then stand with survivors, especially the ones in conservative states, and fight to eliminate criminal and civil statute of limitations.

It is up to us to prevent child sexual abuse. One of the best ways to help prevent this kind of abuse from happening, is to educate ourselves on the signs of abuse. This can be done by calling your local child abuse assessment center. They can potentially have a prevention team that works with your community to help educate adults about how to spot the signs of child sexual abuse, how to educate your children about healthy vs unhealthy touch, and what to do if a child discloses to you that they have been abused. April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month!
No the best way is to vote out anyone that protects enablers and the child rapist. RICO this church!

This heart-wrenching report compels the Church to make a statement acknowledging the abuse of these children at the hands of its clergy and administrators. Such would be the first act of atonement. Streamlining the monetary reparations would be the second. And forget the lawyers - the soul of the Church is at stake.
To me its nothing more but lip service. Just like when the pope went to a Pow wow (native important gathering) and apologizes to the natives AFTER the 500 years of sexual abuse, brainwashing, identity removal and discrimination upon the natives and their children due ti the vatican allowing it to happen.

I had read when they had all those other cases before, that because children do "Confession" it was easy then for the Priest to "twist" the child's words and to go from there. Google says they start Confession in 2nd Grade.

Catholic church isn't the only denomination with that happening. Southern Baptist Convention covered up its widespread sexual abuse per investigation in 2019.

The Catholic Church caused an epidemic of abuse in Ireland, some of those who were abused, went on to have families and abused their own children.
They have the same protocol in every country, when a priest gets the attention on himself, move him to another diocese, if things get worse move him to another part of the country, worse still move him to another country.

In 2018 Pope Francis visited Ireland, in his first speech he stated, “ The church’s failure to address the repugnant crimes of clerical sexual abuse remains a source of pain and shame.” That’s a statement from the front man of the Catholic Church.
The fact that it is still going on today, is further proof, North America 2020, nine and thirteen year old girls sexual abused, the abuser was jailed in March this year.
It is also a fact, that those who are abused, have a higher tendency to abuse, damaged people damage people.
There have been documentaries done where a film crew followed the whereabouts of priests who abused, got the eye on himself, and was moved and hidden by the church. Of course these priests ran for cover once the realised why the camera was there.
In the Catholic school which I attended in the seventies, there were two paedophile priests, they were well known to all us kids, so I do imagine the other priests knew exactly what was going on. Evil people get away with what they do, because those close to them turn a blind eye.
Under severe pressure from the public these two priests were brought to justice many many years later, both were sentenced, one served his time, the other committed suicide. So I will ask you again, where exactly am I talking through my hat?
