I'm happy because you have a new Mix with me (Opus Quad) But in my opinion, the scary features of it, 1. The Hot Cue Section, Made into a Cdj 3000, it's hard to put your hand on the Jogwheel. 2. The FX section, is the selection still on the screen? What if the Touchscreen fails? 3. 4 decks can be accessed in standalone mode, but it's too much hassle. The beauty of it is the Loop section, that's all.

Yep this is what exactly I did also on my numark ns6 with my other two DJ controllers with my other beat pad pad mini USB controller so here's another thing I just was trying to say before when buying DJ controllers it doesn't matter how big it is if you have other mini controllers you can run them and use them as your full size controller likely you can turn in a turntable that's USB plug in and use it as a standard jog wheel like an original DJ controller like this remind me of the pioneer flex 6

You can go crazy with the genres, as long as your crowd likes what you're playing! Just don't switch it up every song, because there has to be some flow as well.

Hey DJ Carlo I noticed that sometimes you use the DJay app the reason why I'm asking is that I know that the tablet or iPad or any on all devices have all the features and effects on this app and I have made a scratch with the app on might have just posted just for you to listen to it lmao 🤣 but my saying is that could you just use a pocket DJ controller just to outperform the bigger DJ controller since the tablet in the software already has it built in you could just tap your finger and just move around the effects and Q's and samples in other effects if that's the case then I might have to move to that no more me freaking touching my laptop screen and then going back to the controller 🤣 but over the past few months I've been messing around with music play some little bit games on Mistplay just to get some gift cards😂 stuff works but anyway that's my question because I see pocket DJ controller even the DJ tech brand but we'll have to contact DJay for this controller to be programmed with their app or with the developer of the controller also but DJ Carlo if you get the chance could you actually do a video on that pocket controllers versus medium sized big size controllers with program one thing I know is when you're going to have good portability but when using it that's the thing
I do release a yearly compilation of controllers from all different tiers, so that may count! As for programs and features, it's all in remapping. While technically it's possible to use all features, even on pocket controllers, you'll need to just remap the software to fit the hardware

The 4 wave forms on the screen can get very VERY confusing at times, plus using all 4 channels wasn't necessary for this video. I did some 4 channel mixes in the past though! It really depends on the kind of mix

The only thing I do not like about this mixer is the fact that they put the Hot cute pads above the mixer so you have to reach above the deck to get to them... Horrible design The mix that you put together was fire though as usual

@@djcarlo Even though I don't agree with the Alpha Theta line of DJ gear and therefore don't like the opus/omni players, nor is Baile my forte, I think you did great. A lot of technical play, wordplay and quick mixing without being too busy sound!
Only been at it less than a year, but watching mostly your vids i learned tons and can finally do a mix that im vibing with. But i also caught bad habits of my own fault. I do not use headphones or use cues to no when to drop. im usually watching the waveforms and listening, but I have progressed im able to start songs on beat now and much more thanks to you.🫡 Any advice on the heaphone/cue thing would be appreciated. hasn’t slowed me down. im sure properly used it can only help

Ideally, I'd say to mix out where the vocals stop. Don't let the song fade out, as that's no longer really a mix

They're similar, but they've each got their own pros and cons. The CDJs have bigger screens though, which wins out hehe

If I recall correctly, that's what I did! I remap so many things, I forget what I do at times hahaha. But I can't get enough of stems!
