- A new boat is releasing this Spring - The Veer X13. An entry-level boat from Brunswick, the owner of Sea Ray, Boston Whaler, and Mercury. A 13' rotomolded boat that is offered with a Mercury 4-Stroke 9.9 and a trailer for $12K. You can also mount Mercury's new AVATOR 7.5e electric outboard for quiet operation. Looks like a fun and tough little boat.
Great to learn about a use case for an Avator electric! Looking forward to seeing more from your experience keeping the ocean cleaner!

Should be $4k cheaper.
Ultimately the market will decide. Thanks for watching and your comment!
This boat is $13,000. Take away the motor, how much is the boat cost? $9 - $11k ????? Pure highway robbery for a plain boat, especially for a plastic that do crack.
To my eye, the video Mercury had made is to appeal to non-boaters that are environmental types with more money than sense. They'll spend more $$$ because, you know, it's green. Ah... Marketing and advertising.
If you take off 4k for a trailer and 20 hp mercury outboard its 8k !!!! For the boat. Way to expensive.
Trailer would be about $2K. Merc 9.9hp 4-strk $2.7K. An aluminum boat would be way cheaper. But plastic has it's advantages. Thanks for watching and your comment!
@@seemoretoys59442k for pretty much a jetski trailer? Lol
@@wazup3333 Aluminum, nice wheels. You could buy a cheap ass trailer if you roll that way. It will work. Thanks for watching and your comment!
It looks ugly compared to a lot of the real boat out there.
That's what I said about Carolina Skiff boats when they 1st came out. They soon became the 1 selling small boat, but mostly because they were relatively inexpensive and a great value for the $$$. Thanks for watching and your comment!
