There is no rival to compass. Only 4x2 petrol limited plus has competition from Karoq. Compass 4x4 is far more advanced than the rest of the cars can’t match.
Test drive compass and it is worth every penny.. Jeep should be compared with Audi Q3 and BMW X3 in terms of build quality, fit finish, drive, handling, safety etc., Please don't compare Jeep with Korean or Japanese brand. Review from Hyundai Tucson owner.

The capacity to power ratio in compass is all gone south , they needed atleast a 1600cc to 2000cc for the 165 ps , no wonder the petrol automatic only gives 7-8 kmpl in city and max 10 in highways despite being a 1300 cc engine
Agreed....and they are going even crazier in the facelift.... displacement of the petrol engine is going down from 1400 cc to 1300cc 130bhp 270nm for manual and 150bhp 270nm for the dct... Same capacity 1300 cc turbocharged.... I wish they also introduce the plug in hybrid version and price it below 25 lacs
Hello darkness my old friend plug in hybrids are to expensive for India , all those mild hybrids are affordable here like the shvs in maruti and lithium hybrid in mg hector and atleast with this good ratio of capacity and power you mentioned atleast the fuel economy would be respectable ,

Now I know why this car doesn't sell in india... This car is bad..Features are less, looks not that expensive and small. Worst, it's costly as hell plus the engine is not that good. Whereas Jeep compass buyers are more knowledgeable and would like to upgrade to Quality, Driving dynamics, handling, safety etc., Nothing wrong in buying Creta, but for god sake don't compare Creta with Compass. Compass is meant for quality buyers, whereas Creta buyers usually upgrade from Hatchback, sedan or in some case 1st time buyers. I own Hyundai Tucson and even Tucson can't match compass's Driving dynamics and handling. Honest feedback.
Jeep is a premium brand and should be compared with Audi Q3 and BMW X3. Unfortunately, some self claimed Auto experts compare it with Korean and Japanese brand, thus not justifying Jeep brand. Ideally, if someone can't stretch their budget to Q3 and X3, Jeep is the best bet... It drives well, handles well and perfect midsize SUV. Jeep worldwide have very few variants say 4-5 vehicles, out of which Wrangler, Compass, and Grand Cherokee available in India. Hope to see their Renegade launch by next year.
