Outta of the box thinking and a really good idea. Super inexpensive as well. Great Video!!
I want you to know that you saved my life and my wallet if I knew you, I would buy you a drink and kiss your forehead for the beautiful video that you have given me
your welcome I am glad it could help you. just remember to make sure everything is tight.
You should put the heater control valve in my 94 Chevy van for me lol talk about a pain. Good old plastic finally gave after all these years. What is bad is every parts store sold out and won't get anymore in stock. Rock Auto said the same thing so I got it off Amazon. Brought two just in case. I'll do a video on it.
yea finding 25+ year old parts can be a pain espically the 90s plastic. but that 94 plastic lasted this long and look at how quick the new plastic last
I just had both of these plastic T heater hoses replaced on my 15 Journey at the Dodge Dealer @ $587, OUCH!
So the upper hose that goes into the cabin can be pulled off without any special tools?
Did you have to burp the system after this. Or did you just add fluid back and it was good to go?
Was that reall 5/8” hose? Seems too small for that line and to fit over 3/4” barb.
It has been a bit since that was done. But if i recall they used different measurements id/od the barb fitting has just a hair small and i just had to tighten it well.
Is it still lasting
@EfurdGarage thank you everyone told me I shouldn't have done it it is metal but I told them metal don't break
This video saved me some money!!!! Easy fix!!!
glad it helped
