    why is everyone so mad about the political questions ? like they even said it themselves in this video that they have a punk mindset and a huge part of punk is politics-

    • @yomama5856
      @yomama5856 3 роки тому +1

      That's just your opinion. Most would agree punk is about being individual which has nothing to do with societies politics.

    • @ZDiddy7777
      @ZDiddy7777 3 роки тому

      Punk was, other than a few bands, never really political. It was more a part of the counter culture and it started during Nixon and expanded during Reagan and Bush, so liberalism was counter to the mainstream. However, today, when you consider that Hollywood, every news channel and TV show is pushing liberslism HARD, liberalism has now become the entertainment mainstream. Punk has lost its soul, its no longer rebellious, bands have to have the same beliefs as the mainstream, or they get eaten alive and called Nazi's- its sad how little, people into punk rock, can think for themselves, punk used to be full of iconoclasts who would stand alone with a middle finger pointed at the mainstream yelling about how wrong they were to follow each other in lockstep, but now punk and its fans have all turned into another mouthpiece for the left. Allowing themselves to be used by the same people they wanted to destroy 40+ years ago... So political questions are annoying because bands are expected to answer only one way. Its not a question, its a test to see if they're on the proper side or if theyre Nazis, there's no in between and that in itself is embarrassing and sad.

      @@ZDiddy7777so you agree that punk expanded in opposition to republican administrations but don't think it's political? and that in its rebellion it was about opposing the dominant ideology rather than oppression itself which you assert is liberalism bc the entertainment industry entertains progressivism while the actual political system is hell-bound on regression?

    Top notch interview. Asking the same question at the start and at the end is the sign of a professional interviewer who won't waste your time.
    "Trump bad, yes?" "Trump bad, yes?...freestyle?" Nice. Everybody loves the person who always insists on discussing politics we're already bombarded with 24/7.
    Asking "If i was dying of cancer would you retweet my gofundme?" is weird. Like narcissistic manipulator kind of weird.
