You ever noticed how Mario Party 9 bosses has a theme going on?
Lakitu and Wiggler: Free roaming
Whomp and King Bob-Omb: Prediction
Dry Bones and King Boo: Puzzles
Cheep Cheep and Blooper: Shooting/aiming
Spike and Chain Chomp: Agility
Bowser and Bowser Jr: luck
Oh my gosh, I just realized that’s true.
That and Donkey and Diddy being point collecting games. I honestly never noticed that though until now hehe

Took me a bit when I was a kid, but I eventually beat it. Nowadays, I can No Damage this boss.
That’s why he got into Smash.
His power is so superior that we couldn’t even beat him as a child.
Never had too much of a problem with him, but I still think he’s a bullshit first boss.

Honestly despite 9 and 10’s (ESPECIALLY 9’s) flaws, I have a soft spot for those games and the bosses are a big reason why. Would be cool to have 4-player bosses that don’t require the car.

I always wondered, why wasn't Bowser jr in Mario Party 4-8?
My guess for Mario Party 4 was because Mario Sunshine and 4 released during the same year about 4 months apart. So maybe they didn’t include because of him being so new to the series and their not being a lot of time to add him since the Mario Party games we’re releasing yearly at that point.
After that I do not know.
Only Nintendo truly knows to be honest.
