If it did go back to the old days there would be so many complaints about the game being absolutely barebones with horrendous balancing issues, lack of Warzone 1 movement (such as the inability to slide at all, inability to bhop with most weapons especially when ADSing), very fast TTK, map design that has a lot of spots that are very good for campers, etc…
Im grinding MW3 right now. The new map isn’t bad, but Verdansk was Awesome. It was a bad idea to remove it when vanguard came out. A Verdansk ‘44 would’ve been pretty cool.
I don’t have to worry because the black out map in bo4 has been the same for 4 years and there is no plans on changing or removing the map with another one, the way it should be.
It’s nice that verdansk is coming back, but it won’t feel the same, when i think of verdansk i think of casual games with my friends, not games when we have to always be aware and tryhard to win. But when verdansk comes out, that’s what it is gonna be.

I feel disappointed at how both Fortnite and Call of Duty are copying each other. From collabs, clown skins to gunsmsith, and now both are bringing back OG maps. These two games are literally playing tug-of-war as we speak.
I just played the mw3 campaign after finishing the camo grind in multiplayer… and when I played the mission in the verdansk stadium… BRUH. I just sat there for like an hour thinking why they would do me like that that and not have the actual map I can play
Verdansk is officially coming back to CoD in April 2024 when WZ Mobile drops (if it doesn't get pushed back again) and though it may not be received the same way the Console/PC version was it should at least be highly anticipated whether you're a fan of mobile gaming or not (I personally play all platforms)

It also still had its current player base and across all platforms it had such large numbers that the servers had to be upgraded twice.
