Sir , I am confused with the constitutional deadlock. Acc to cripps mission, the new constitution will only be accepted if a province not willing to join indian union , have its own seperate union and constitution. Now congress does not want such seperation against the National Unity. Thus, congress rejected. On the other hand, Muslim league wanted seperate nation, pakistan, explicitly manifested by march 1940 pakistan resolution. Was this the deadlock.? Both agreeing for opposite things. Pls help sir.
