Thank you for making this gentle practice for us all. I am so greatful and in need of these types of movements for my PTSD and somatic regulation. I to am trying to heal from loss, grief and painful life experiences as a result. My human journey has exposed me to a wide spectrum of emotions. I cry most days, but not for the life i have now, but for all the hurt i encountered at the hands of others during my life journey. Hurt that i buried deep deep down. I am beginning to release this trauma and learn to live a life of peace and love for the first time. It is hard. Being human is hard. Being a good human even harder. Dealing with abandonment is probably my biggest challenge. Baby steps. Learning to let the day die (even the moment sometimes) and start again with a new breath, focusing on my current life has been really crutial. Once i grasped the concept of corpse pose and to let emotions/ego/what should or shouldn't be, die and fall away to fertilise the earth where I lay, relaxing all the tension from my body, letting it all go. Breathing properly. Marrying passenger and vessel, releasing the forcefield and restriction around my heart space, i can begin to regain clarity from the whirlwind of thoughts that take over my head and body, which often sett me the wrong path in the past. But by simplifying and coming back to basics i can find my present path again. Finding a small spark of joy in the every day. Building on those sparks. Not chasing perceived happiness, but just seeking some comfort and growing with that. Remembering to be kind to myself, so i never mind being in my own company. Remembering the past is gone and that i am causing my own suffering by continually replaying everything over in my head. Yoga is definitely helping me to wring my body out and to see how beautiful life is when i seek to find beauty and not the pain. The trouble is i am so tender hearted and easily triggered into sadness if someone is horrible to me. These days i tend to spend most of my time with my husband and beautiful doggies, in the trees and by the water. Or tending my garden. Nature is so beautiful and healing and the trees are so wise, especially when you learn their language. Peace and love to this community and Adrienne who gives us the gift and teachings of how to face ourselves and show up for ourselves and strive to be at one with the universe. Namaste.
Thanks for the feedback Eva Board (Austrian Lady), our more recently uploaded videos use audio instructions, this is something we have taken on board :)
I didn't find this video very helpful, if I'm trying to learn a new stitch I usually watch whilst trying to do it. With all the breaks its difficult to see and i'd rather hear someone read the instructions. If i was using a pattern I've already got the written instructions so don't need them onscreen too. Trying to read and concentrate on the stitches is not very helpful
Hi, thank you for such a concise video!! I read in one of your other comments that there are different variations of a twisted rib. I want to do a twisted 1x1 in the round, using long-tail twisted 1x1 CO to make the brim of a hat. Would I k1tbl,p1tbl on each round? Also how would I join this in the round? I assume by casting on an extra knit st and k2tog..? Thank you so much if you can help! I only find info on how to set up those first 2 rows but not join or continue on in the round.
Jose Manuel .....thats funny, but that big yarn and big sticks made it easy to see, and therefore learn. were you able to figure out how it was done? looks easy....now I’m off to make my ribbed sock cuff. stacy
I'm confused in some tutorials I watch they twist one the purl st only on one side and then twist the knit st only on the other side. You twist every stitch?
Hi Lois! Yes there are a few variations of the twisted rib stitch. Twisting every stitch on both sides makes the effect more dramatic. You can have a half twisted rib as well, and this is only twisted on one side, with normal rib on the other. Hope that helps! :)
Horrible editing. If you're only showing and not speaking, the last you can do is NOT breaking the visual with the written explanations each time. Just put them on the side, it's not that complicated.
I didn't like the words up there - just showing us visually is the best way, well it is for me. Keep cutting to the words onscreen is very off-putting.
found this whole thing to be ass backwords! it says to do a reg knit stitch but she knits from the back! fubar guess if you do it wrong the whole time the whole way through and are consistent about it, it will look ok... but would rather learn the correct way from somebody who knows what they are doing...
I really like how clear and concise these tutorials are. Thanks for the help!
Glad you like them Charlotte!
FINALLY someone who isn’t doing this on teeny tiny sock stitches. I can actually see what you’re doing.

I just don’t seem to be getting the hang of this stitch, what could I be doing wrong.🤷🏼♀️

I wish y’all would talk for those people that can hear
some sound would’ve been great, struggling w the sonic sweater here 🙄
I wish that you had spoken during this tutorial. Hard to follow
Brill.easy to unerstand.
Really glad you found the video easy to understand Annabel Dalziel!
Dommage, ce n'est pas en Français.
I love wool and gang videos, but I would’ve preferred if the person was speaking rather than banking to read the instructions.

Ade's Ventures thank you for the feedback, will keep that in mind for the future!

Nope could not watch this, what's with no explanation, ie speaking? Really could have just read a printed leaflet for all the good this was.
Annoying to watch because of all the breaks with written instructions.
Ok thank you for the feedback :)
please add audio - this is not helpful
Please add audio Terrible video
I found it easy to follow. Thanks for the info.
