I’m so proud he was my autistic son’s first concert. He was 12. He loved it!
The BOSS! Thanks Seth and crew!
Humble genius and patron saint of New Jersey 🙏🏼
Bruce Springsteen and the E-Street band was my first concert...I was fortunate to start at the top. It is great to see him still rocking it and I am happy how good it looks on him.
Yo me too lol
@@ryanblue4166 I had the pleasure of Seeing Bruce Springsteen had released the great "Darkness On The Edge Of Town" album. I had the good fortune to see him at arguably the height of his great career at the Beacon Theater in the Big Apple. At one point Bruce decided to sing a song while standing amongst his devoted audience. He just happened to pick out a spot on top of the armrests between me and my girlfriend. I had to lean over to the left as far as I could so he had enough room to perform. It definitely was very cool, and indeed thrilling, but boy, was it ever uncomfortable...LOL. Seriously, if he stood there for another song I would have definitely needed a chiropractor visit the next day.
Totally, man, me too. I gotta say: Smokey (R.) is my hero. Soul and gospel -->saved my life
Fun fact: Bruce Springsteen was the final musical guest on the final episode of _Late Night with David Letterman._ It was also Bruce's first appearance on a network talk show.

This man is a legend
Hello everyone happy Thanksgiving back at you from the Philippines 🥰🤗
Bruuuuuuuuuuceeeeee! Such a great musician and person. Love hearing him talk. Also seeing g Seth in a jacket now is just weird!
Hopefully it was just for Bruce? He didn’t wear one on thanksgiving but had worn an entire suit for letterman
Bruce Springsteen, the pride of New Jersey
Wait, whaddabout da "Situashun"?
@@ericminch what is "Situashun"?
Not Chris Christie?
@@mikewhite4560 Christie is one of the most hated people in the state
Ya THINK says a Dude who Vacationed at his Anuts House in NEPTUNE CITY for DECADES & who's Cousin is a PUBLIC SCHOOL TEACHER in Wall?
So I assume that this awesome guest is the reason Seth is back in a jacket! Thanks for bringing us The Boss!
Fortunate to have lived in the same time as this great human and gotten to experience his life ✌💙
I love that you said this...I could not agree more.
He looks great for his age..👌
Bruce is the best person in show business! I know it's going to be tough to get a ticket to see the E-Street Band, but I'll be trying. His son is a Jersey City Fireman. I know Bruce taught him well. The Jersey City Healy's love you Boss. A show I don't want to miss. And tell Reuben I said Hi!
Glad I took my whole family to see Bruce last time he was in Seattle. That time it cost me $500. Now it could be closer to $5,000. Glad I took them when I could. My kids are big fans!
They could just get a job & buy their own tickets.
@@KleWdSide You're right! They're both successful now and make great money! Thanks for the great advice! Ha!

2:49 - I guarantee that Seth’s mom rolled her eyes when she heard Seth say that.
Bruce is starting to rock the Robert DeNiro vibe pretty hard these days.
Ha! I wrote the same thing on another clip.
Fun Fact: De Niro got "are you talking to me?" from the Springsteen in 1975.
@@mc76 Cool, so it's not just me!
Is that meant to be a compliment ? If so ok but a certain segment of the population hates deniro.
I hope to see this legend on tour too
So sorry I didn't go see him in 1980 when he came to my town
E-Street, greatest band ever
France 🇲🇫 love BRUCE 🎸👌🎸
joy
This is number 1 of 2. They don't seem to want to let you know that so you can watch them in order.
No matter how much we ask, they refuse ...Kimmel just posts full interviews
Omg... I've always found "For You" to be a pretty dark song. Suicidal, for sure. Alludes to the girl being taken away to a mental hospital? The album version is upbeat but I am much more familiar with the solo piano version from performances around Born To Run and earlier where the lyrics are the focus and the way he sings it builds in intensity and ends in a pretty bitter place emotionally. So yeah, weird song choice for a wedding. Though Bruce does have a tendency to hide pretty dark or depressing lyrics beneath an upbeat exterior. "Hungry Heart" probably the best example of this, but I also remember one day really listening to lyrics to "Cadillac Ranch" and realizing that it is kinda about death. I later discovered it was named for an art installation of Cadillacs crashed upright front down into the ground somewhere in the desert (it is featured on the insert of record of The River). So there is that....
Yeah, I agree that Cadillac Ranch is about death, but I think that it's also about aging. And apparently, Ramrod is intended to be a sad song.
I needed that time at the Zia place to untangle my mind & heal. I know that.
And I def needed that time in Vegas after.
There is a Black church in Harlem with a great choir. The church was built by Welsh immigrants. On the altar it says "Canwn i'r Arglwydd" ("We will sing to the Lord").
I hope he makes another "Western Stars" album. It's excellent and feels like it's from the heart. His other music is great too, but it can be a bit too loud for me!
15% is a small price to pay for Obama input.
A bargain you say?
● ter·ror·ism ● the unlawful use of violence and intimidation, especially against civilians, in the pursuit of political aims.
Democrats (all of 2019 and 2020 in over 140 Innocent American cities) and Republicans (Jan06/2021) are rioting domestic terrorist organizations.
They commit and support mass shootings, bombings and rioting which terrorize the innocent 110 million REAL AMERICANS who are not registered in your domestic terrorist groups.
As an American, I refuse to negotiate or participate with you domestic political terrorists. I will not listen or follow anything any Democrat or Republican says to do. I will not listen to any government organization controlled by these domestic political terrorist groups. I will not fund your terrorist activities and domestic war with taxes.
Glad I am not a registered democrat or republican mentally ill terrorist traitor and 1 of 110 MILLION REAL AMERICANS in this country.
Hard to believe that he is 73 years old! He looks more like 53...
He's a lovely man. North America's Daniel O'Donnell .
They like the pic on Twitter he had with his head in snow
Well that'd explain the suit. Wanna at-least TRY for The Boss.
Springsteen is looking a bit like Robert De Niro.
Bob can't write songs and perform them like Bruce can though.
Nice rug.
Wife and I saw him and e street at L.A. coliseum during Born in the U.S.A. tour, he played and played and played, I was wore out by the time they quit. No wonder he tired touring.
Sam & Libby came up in NM and I got that confused with Sam Mendez.
President Obama inspired a lot of people! Especially me!
My brother thought my mom was the boss but my uncle Vince taught him otherwise
Wait... I want the casual seth 🤔
What's DeNiro doing there?
Smthg about beating Barney the dinosaur with a bat.
You say your life is great, but did you weld up a 16lb ax head, complete with an edge you welded up with some cast iron and other add ins to make an extremely hard edge, then carved up a 4lb 5ft handle for the ax, and then over time learn to split wood with it efficiently, can you imagine the thrill of swinging an ax as hard so hard? Can you imagine the testosterone charge of feeling that power in your meaty hands, as they absorb significant shock? I can sing good enough to go pro, but can any pro singers say they can split wood with a 20lb ax they made from scratch? Note, if you're not built like an ox you'll probably break fingers trying to split wood with an ax like this, the shock is much worse than a 12lb hammer, it's more like a 30lb hammer. So, greatest thrill? Maybe, but there are some pretty great thrills if you dig deep in any field, maybe I'll take a swing at your field some day, see if it can compete with wood splitting and just singing in my barn.
Sorrow dressed. Classy. He's not always classy, but always respectful towards others. He is as close to a celebrity No1 you can come. A man of the people, for the people.
What matters is the music.
What a catalogue!!
This interview wasn't the best, Seth seemed nervous from the start.
I liked it.
I'm grateful that Mr Springsteen hails Sam Moore as one of the greatest, if not the greatest soul singers of all time because he is. I also condemn all the Democrats who condemned Mr Moore for being at The White House, with President Trump, for the historic signing of the Music Modernization Act in October 2018, which permitted artists, such as Nils Lofgren, to reclaim ownership of their work. Something Obama had 8-years to do so but didn't.
