Yes Discovery paid just over a million dollars to ship all the vehicles over in the containers. They also paid the guys to go however they didn't pay the crews, they did cover the hotels and gave them some daily money for food and some activities but definitely didn't foot the entire cost for everyone that went.
There's no times shown because this is grudge racing. They're also edits from the actual Street Outlaws team media personnel videos that were shot while they were here in Australia. They're not actual "Drag Racing" videos per say, they're media release videos for the team UA-cam channels.

Not to mention street outlaws had to race with Australia’s climate , street,low octane gas,”small tire”. So America was the underdog in this.
I like Australia from 505 it was a great show. We would like to see the Australian come to America 🤔💭 it will be fun.
