I have the Luminaire XP1, but I did get the upgrade kits 1 & 2 so it's like having the XP2...there are so many features I had forgotten how to use and so many new ones I was having trouble figuring out. Your demonstration was fantastic, I simply cannot thank you enough!
I appreciate you going over all these unique features and you did a great job. I know this wasn't a full tutorial, but I came away with enough knowledge to play with some of these features to learn to use them on my own. If you had used better closeups with the camera, these short lessons would have been better than the lessons from Angela Wolfe that came with the machine. Angela spent far too much time picking embroidery designs than showing me how to navigate thru the scanning and camera features or even how to use the snowman stickers. The background music wasn't needed.
Hi. Can’t see the right side ipad. I don’t know what the icons look like. How do you get to that screen? Also cannot see the lazer lines. I just purchased this machine, little help here.

Can you do the opposite of a fill? I am hoping to use the camera to scan in appliqué blocks and then fill not the inside of the line (like you drew with your finger), but from the outside of the line to the edge of the block. Thank you.
Beautiful machine! Just wondering! What sewing machine do you recommend when sewing heavy thick material. For example, double fleece, uhaul.material. thanks!
Any of the higher-end machines from any brand should be able to handle thick material. You'll want to look for a machine that has a metal chassis for added stability, and make sure to use the appropriate needles for your fabric. Honestly, the best way to know what machine will suit your needs is to bring samples of the fabric into your local store and sew on the display models there. www.qualitysewing.com/store-locations

I know you tried, but the canera work just didn't do enougb to show the screen or what you were trying to show us on the fabric.

You can choose to add a decorative fill to the inside of a shape, the outside of a shape or none at all using design center.
