It's heart-warming to hear President Joe Biden speak so authentically about Joni's contribution to music. And it looked to me that Joni was so excited to be honored in this way. I have been a huge fan of Joni's ever since "Song to a Seagull", her first album. Thank you Joni!!!!!

It's also nice to have a president who can speak, and understands an artist like Joni, instead of thinking that a 10 yr old girl who twirls a baton, tap dances, and sings a song from Annie is something we want to see. Thank God Dolt 45 is gone. But let's get back to Joni. She's unparalleled and I love her so much.

The fact that a sitting president acknowledges the importance her lifetime achievement in the arts gives us hope! Great music unites and invites diversity of perspective, and inspires us to reflect on our lives, rather than to label and dismiss. Joni tastes so bitter, yet so sweet & is in my blood like holy wine!

Thank God that was Biden giving this speech, and not the last guy. I don’t know if my brain or soul would’ve been able to handle that. I probably would’ve had a breakdown.
