Basically normal him would’ve hated supporting Endeavour, so he hit himself so he too could change like Endeavour. Honestly one of my favourite moments in the whole series.

Did anyone think his motivations for so intensely disliking Todoroki were a bit flimsy? He went so far as to say he hates Todoroki after one encounter with him and his father. After one bad experience, I just don't understand how he went from open to friendship with Shoto to hating him because he was called a nuisance
