This has to be the most dark and effed up content to come from SMG4… yes there’s other stuff that’s worse (like favorite character’s dying in an arc), but Meggy getting ACTUALLY LEGITIMATELY KILLED for a month, over and over again… that is the darkest and most effed up thing yet.
Remember the Genesis arc, remember Luke irl downloaded a Super Mario 64 Emulator, maybe the tv virus Winston is a virus Luke got when trying to install the Emulator, that would also explain how it got in the Smg4 universe to begin with, this makes even more sense cause the showgrounds map on gmod has Winston in the name, it also explains Lukes glitched channel banner and pfp, Winston isn't limited to the Smg4 universe cause he's a virus taking over Lukes entire computer, think about it, Wren never met Axol before so how'd he know how to take his form? Wren got corrupted by the virus, nothing else makes sense, why would he deliberately harm a random person he gave a hat to as a young kid, he has to have been corrupted and this is the only theory that makes sense
This isn't over. Someone more dangerous is out there. Someone clearly gave that tech to Wren and knew he was in a vulnerable state where he could be driven insane. He was just a test subject and it makes me worry how far the next threat will go compared to Wren. He became so twisted that he made simulations of Meggy's dead friends. I feel especially bad for Tari because she held Desti's body in her arms after she was struck down and she was breaking down when she saw them in the corner of her eye while struggling with control of her body. We'll have to wait and see for this new threat because this threat is still unknown. It's probably a ways away but we shouldn't let our guards down just because this is over. Look how well that went in 2021 when they didn't make sure Zero was sealed for good. Rip Axol. The same thing might happen again. I hope I'm wrong but a pattern is developing When Tari got her moments to shine it was a nice touch to add a hint of the Meta Runner theme. Meta Runner might be over but it lives on. The voice actors did a really good job this time around as well.

It’s sad to see how the fans constantly have to remind the writers that Melony is the most powerful character in the canon yet they refuse to use her because Kevin doesn’t need her to be a main character anymore but still refuses to kill her off because she’s anime.

Whenever she has tried to used them, the writers either made them insignificant like for a cameo or during the basketball episode where Luigi beat her or circumstances prevent her from using them at all; it's as if the writers want nothing to do with her anymore but still keep her around anyways because if they immediately killed her off after Revelations, they would have a *LOT* of angry fans to deal with. What they did instead was hardly better, they ignored her and let Meggy take back the spotlight as if nothing ever happened. During the Lawsuit Arc, she was completely irrelevant and did nothing. Not to mention the next three movies each screwed her over even more: - "It's Gotta Be Perfect": The writers go as far as to make a joke saying that she will never use her powers for anything useful ever again. - "Western Spaghetti": She's just sleeping most of the time, doesn't bother to attack Oneshot Wren and only gets a single line. - "PUZZLEVISION": Completely absent and never mentioned at all. Not to mention how she's almost never in episodes anymore and if she is, than she's in the background and doesn't talk. The only episode she got was the death row one showing her first attempt at manga going poorly and afterwards, is once again ignored as if Kevin was giving the fans that episode just to shut them up about her absence. The point is, Melony no longer has a place in the show and killing her off would probably be for the best as to tie up her story together and make it so fans stop questioning why she doesn't use her powers and end the antagonists immediately.

I feel part of the problem with SMG4's writing (which in and of itself is a seprate matter) is that they not only kill off likeable and good characters like Axol and SMG0, but they also have so many excessive, minor characters like the Anti-Cast, SMG1 & SMG2, Kaizo, and even Melony herself ever since Revelations - of whom they use for absolutely nothing but to have in the background and to just let them go to waste and give them one episode every few years to make fans stop complaining.
When I saw axol and desti I was pretty happy but then found out that something was wrong since they were supposed to be dead
